I THINK everyone is upset because if there are outside charaters, people might only play that outsider character and say stuff like " _______ can kick of the the MK characters a**es"

Impossible. Sony owns the God of War IP, and Namco doesn't have a deal with WB like they did with Spawn.

Marcus is really MK's best pic for the 360. Much as I'd love Fulgore to be the guest character, Gears of War is still an ongoing series with developers who give a damn about it. He also fits in better than Master Chief would with the chainsaw gun and all. Considering MK has Sci-Fi inspired fighters I don't see how he couldn't fit.

woah!! is that a fake? coz i have the Spawn+Batman comic that is the same cover but with batman not scorpion, but this looks way better! makes more sence too the 2 hellboys teaming up! ;)

Definetly Spawn. Although the Gears Of War character I heard about would be fine too.

They actually don't look teaming up :). It don't suit scorpion to copy spiderman's poses.

Thats batmans exact pose from the original comic cover, but your right it does look more like a spidey pose

I can think of several:

B.Orchid- Killer Instinct (my favorite KI character plus she's already in a fighting series that includes fatalities)
Ivy- Soul Calibur (zero chance but I think she'd do great in a bloody fighting game as opposed to an anime style)
Morrigan- Dragon Age: Origins (would love to see a female witch/sorceress in MK, plus those who can't stand her can own her in a fatality)
Bayonetta- Bayonetta (like Morrigan, would love to see a witch, plus she's no stranger to close combat)
Nariko- Heavenly Sword (like Kratos but female)
Rayne- Bloodrayne (since Nitara isn't in and MK can always spice it up with another vampire...only to make an actually decent one this time)

MK needs more females, period. Plus this game is only going to have very few (Kitana, Mileena, Sonya, and Sindel for sure, don't know if Jade or Sheeva will make it), and if Sheeva/Jade doesn't make it then they can always make up for it.

do you guys remember the game john tobias made for the first xbox?i think it was tao-feng,i know the game was garbage but i would use a character from there,i think microsoft owns the rights to it still

You are correct. Microsoft owns the IP rights to Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus and John Tobias founded Studio Gigante, which became a subsidiary of MGS.

a bit unfair if one console gets a charactor from one of the most popular games to date and the other gets a nobody from a game that was garbage

i agree with this doode, MK needs 2 more girl fighters, but not another ninja or a cop, something darker like a sorceress or a female tarkata would be cool,,wouldnt it??

Hey there! I´m new in this forum! Sorry if my english is not as good as yours but i´m originaly from poland and live in germany...

I don´t know if it was already mentioned but there won´t be an exclusive character for the xbox...

Earlier today we couldn't contain ourselves from wishing publicly that Marcus Fenix would be added to the Mortal Kombat Xbox 360 edition. It turns out, this is not going to be the case. The team officially announced via Twitter that "The Only Exclusive character is Kratos for the PS3". So there you have it. Mortal Kombat hates the Xbox 360. As if the inclusion of Kratos wasn't enough for you to buy the PS3 version as is.

Thank you, but at the time of that tweet, they were merely stating that they only had one exclusive announced, I believe. As far as MK hating the 360, that just seems a bit outlandish as all of the current builds played at expos are on the 360.

One of Ed's more recent tweets shows a top 20 of 2011 for XBox w/ MK listed as #2, and this quote, "there's talk of 360-exclusive goodies in the upcoming brawler redux..." This may not mean there is an exclusive character, it could be other content, but nothing has ruled out a character coming to the 360 definitively.

@ killkano: i didn´t compare the dates the one is from january and the one you have listened is from february... so i think there will be something else than an exclusive character... i hope so! kratos and others have no place in a MK remake...

what comes else into my mind... has nothing to do with this thread but they mentioned something in a german MK gamepro review that "due to the storyline ,cyborg chracters like sektor shall appear in their human version"

so that confirms human sektor since the audio leak and maybe a human version of cyrax...
