Dude, I agree with you 100% on those issues. But I would've made the thread title a little bit different.

Noob and Smoke need to be their own individual characters again, like before MKDA. Meat is a waste of time and Mokap. Well he has got some promise I hope. At least he looks better in MKA.

I did think that the Noob/Smoke combo was novel, but I really miss their singular indentities, bro. I want to be able to use them each seperately, but hey, that's life in Outworld, lol.

Why are meat and mocap such a big deal? EVERY game has little secrets that don't make sense... they are just fun. You dont have to like them, but I think you should tolerate them. I mean, look at tekken. It has a serious side, but then they also have characters like Kuma, and mokujin (kuma=bear, mokujin=living hunk of wood). And on top of that, MK has always been known for it's sense of humor. This is a fighting game that is supposed to be taken lightly, LIGHTEN UP!

Yeah, but it's Mortal Kombat, and it's our lifes Blood, man. Mokujin was awesome, and so was Tetsujin the Tinman. But that's Tekken and Tekken is kool despite all the circus animals like Kuma and Panda and the assortment of other freaks.

And I am light, lol. I barely have a serious bone in my whole body. . .except for that one. lol
 
I'm just saying that even though the game is about killing people in brutal ways, its also about being campy and having a sense of humor. Thats why meat and mocap are no big whoop imo! who gives a damn if they are in it? if you hate them, don't play as them! simple as that.

I guess that they are humour in the game, seeing as there's no Friendships or Babalities in MKA, or is there?
 
man, those lame players are just like the lame movies. you either choose them while you are drunk, just like when you watch movies like kung pow when you are drunk. everything ends up being HILARIOUS! i'm serious, when you are sucky player like mocap you are supposed to add your own add libs!
 
I can understand there being a reason for them being together but that doesn't change the fact that I like them apart. I think there is a distinct reason for them being apart tho. In Ashrah's ending in MK:D it looks as if Smoke is experiencing "issues" with being a resident of the Netherrealm. If they made the characters seperate it could be like Smoke deviating from Noob's plan and following his own path again.

Nope, they are unfortunately joined at the hip [yeah it is lame]

But that option of individual play may exist, but I highly doubt it would fit into the story
 
We don't know for a fact that Noob and Smoke will still be a combo team like they were in Deception. All we're basing our assumptions on is the silhouettes from the [very unfinished] character select screen that uses pre-existing renders, so until we finally see 'em in action, I say let's pretend we don't have a reason to bitch yet.
