They release random news on MK9 cause it's a build up to the game and exciting even when I see arenas also.

Well , I really think that Raiden is the character MK is designed for , specially in the recent games . He may be not the poster boy with Scorpion and -0 , but I really consider him the main character of MK and this new chapter and reimaging proves nothing , but that fact .

Well Raiden wasn't in MK 3, Liu Kang wasn't in MKA and Sonya wasn't in MK2. Hell, even Scorpion wasn't in MK3, so sometimes the obvious ones do miss out.
