how to live?

how the hell do you do it?

I think constantly about this and each time I look at the results of what I come up with
I see the results and they are as follows.

1.Be Egotistical.
nothing gets you farther than a big ego.
look at all the people that revolve around people with big egos.

2.Eliminate Empathy.
because Empathy holds you back from getting what YOU want.
and that's what the world revolves around.

3.talk as Vaguely as possible.
if you do this you'll get out of explaining yourself and your actions because you can change your story later.

4.step on peoples heads.
how on earth do you expect to move ahead if you don't put anyone behind you?
so what if they get hurt,it's not your problem because it's not you.
if they're living in poverty it's their fault because they weren't ruthless enough.

now here's the thing.
I'm going fucking crazy here because I realised just how fake society is
and how easily people are persuaded into things by an act.
and everyone I see that has these traits is moving forward in life.

so what do I do?

do I become completely morally bankrupt and fake to get the material and physical pleasures or do I stay how I am and be completely misserable because I want to be me?

this shouldn't be happening and I shouldn't have to choose between the two.

I've always thought that those sorts of people absolutely loathe who they are on the inside and aren't actually truly happy, successful though they may be. I'd personally rather be a good person who has to struggle through life than a completely abhorrent piece of shit with phony friends who really couldn't give a flying rat's ass about him.

It is sad that one kind of has to make this choice, but do you really think you'd be any less miserable if you sold yourself out? I doubt it, man.

thanks man.
just goin' through a really hard time in my head ya know.

I'm glad to hear from a fellow Metaller since I just watched a Documentary on what I love and the last few lines brought a tear to my eye.
you can't buy that.
those genuine feelings for what you love, you can't take that away, and you can't buy it.

Everyone has their own approach about how one should live his life. Some like being stupid, others prefer to be dominant, to name a few. The key is holding your heart closed and to grab an opportunity when it comes. Or simply be yourself and dodge the bullets.

I prefer to control the mind and play the people. But that's just me.

Sorry I can't offer much help in the way of advice or even answers to your questions. But when we chatted on AIM the other day, I think we dug into a few related issues, dude. Depression is a big issue we talked about in some detail, and I know you're dealing with in your own way. But about the other things, when all is said and done, I think you should be "You" you're a top bloke that I've had the pleasure of knowing online for at least the last 4 years through the forums that we both frequent.

Do what you want to, and enjoy doing it. To buggery with anyone that tries to discourage you or get in the way of this. If you have dreams then follow them. I know you are passionate about your music n stuff. So the above things you said, you should never follow suit, or you will become the thing that you obviously hate in other people.

Another thing I have found useful since the passing of my Dad, is to live each day one at a time. Some say to look to the future, well that's all well and good, but I say "Live for the now and live for today" in some instances tommorrow may not come. Bottom line is treat others as you would have them treat you. How many people do you know of that follow that simple yet all too true rule? At some time or another we are all guilty of doing something that we would hate done to ourselves.

I've dribbled enough in your thread, bro, sry.
