Also, in Classic Sub-Zero's ending from UMK3/MKT, they said he revealed his identity and that those who saw him were shocked to see that he was a fighter who'd long been missing since a previous tournament. Basically, they never specifically said that he was indeed the original Sub-Zero. And obviously, if someone presenting himself as the original Sub-Zero revealed his identifty to be that of the original Sub-Zero, it probably woldn't have people in such a state of shock.

i always thought that classic sub zero was the sub zero from MK1, the guy who killed scorpion in MKM and was killed by him in MK1, the older brother of the good sub zero (mk2 - mkd), the one that became noob saibot...
in his ending in UMK3/MKT also says "having been killed in the first tournament sub-zero somehow seems to have emerged to win the third tournament..."

Yeah, but that's before it says he revealed his "shocking" identity. Also, I think the key word in that first part is "seems".

Nonetheless, we should all remember that UMK3 and MKT basically meant squat in terms of MK's storyline.
 
Nah, I think they'll make this storyline actually count. It seems like this is meant to be the tournament to end all tournaments, and considering what seems to be on the horizon for the future of MK (the hinted revamping of the series), it should actually work as part of the real story.

That doesn't mean there won't be plotholes aplenty, but there always are.

The origiol Sub-Zero in Trilogy was the new Sub-Zero masked.

Because Noob was already ... A spectre, plus they said they were shocked...
Who appeared in MK4 just like the origiol SZ's ending stated in MK:T? The new Sub-Zero... Get the picture? Or it could have been Quanchi. (since he manipulated Scorpion into believing SZ killed his family since MK1.

Also Onaga's soul manifested Reptiles body if they are seperate that means either my theory on Havoks ending is right. (him reviving everyone's souls/bodys)

or something else is going on. (such as the Elder Gods are finnaly making the fighters decide on the universe's fate)

maybe they are making one last tournament that will determine the fate of earthrealm and onaga is awakened from someone because he is in his original sarcophagus now.
everyone is getting together for one more battle. good versus evil.
and everyone. calm down. ask yourselves one question.

No its this last MK's generation. NOT the LAST TOURNAMENT.
Afer this many of your favorite characters won't be played as again. Only seen/small little part about them. Check my Theorys on characters/etc. Topic to see what I'm talking about and for any other questions I may be able to answer.

so what your saying is the next MK game will have all new people? it will be like 300 years into the future?
if not, what the hell are u talking about? if all my people are gone, i will start to despise MK

There will be a new roster. Is what I'm saying. Scorpion, and Sub-Zero so far are the only returning characters. (Many old characters will have sons/etc. to take their place in the new roster)
 
thats gonna be whack.
just remake all the past games as 3-D, and let it e done. either that or make more with the same people. maybe older, but the same people.
