How come Subzero doesn't have his scar anymore?

It was a What-if ending that never panned out, but like with noob's where he kills sub-zero, it says that subby is noobs little brother.

Are you so sure it's a "what-If" ending. Afterall that one PERFECTLY explains how Quan Chi and Scorpion were both in the Netherralm at the begining of MKA

UMK3's story for scorps also continued the 'protect' subby thing too don't forget. So if MK2's ending isn't real then neither was UMK3's.

Just one problem with what you said.

Ok. If Scorpy "vowed to protect" the younger Subby, then why was he about ready to kill Subby in his MK4 ending?

Quan Chi tricked Scorpion into thinking that the new Sub-Zero killed his family and clan, at which point, one would assume, he rescinded his vow.

If Scorpion never found out that Sub-Zero wasn't the same guy who killed him, one has to wonder what he was up to through all of MK2, because investigating Sub-Zero's resurfacing and then realizing they were two different people was all he did in that game.

His ending is a what-if, as someone pointed out once the elder Sub-Zero is now a wraith. Like Scorpion it came with a price - loss of memory. So even though we are told he killed Sub-Zero he wouldn't have remembered about him being his bro.

Second prob with Noob's ending was the younger sub-zero was in hell. Someone on the MK team seems to have forgotten in the last few years that if you are good of soul you can't enter that realm. '

Then why does Scorpion know Sub Zero killed him.

And the 2nd Sub Zero was in the netherrealm chasing Scorpion then Noob Saibot in MK:SM.

The MK story is made of a lot of possibilities, even things that did happen have recently been re-written.

It's pretty hard not to say Noob is the original Sub Zero from MK and the current Sub Zero is the one from MKII onward.

I think because it siad something about Sub-Zero being inprinted in his mind because he killed him. Either that or Quan-Chi told him that it was Subby that murdered him.
