House Music

Hey guys, I thought I'd post up some of my Favorite House artists out there, and to make a topic for fellow TRMK Members to post up some of their favorites, I'm an avid House music fan and have been listening to it for quite a while now.

These days House music is more diverse than ever, It's not your typical generic Eurotrash music, House Music has gone leaps and bounds to what it used to be. There's ALOT of sub-genres out there nowdays, from Acid House ( Way back in the 80's, Classic tunes ) , Progressive House to a new and emerging genre Indie Dance/Nu-Disco ( Which is my personal favorite ).

Nowdays all over the Mainstream charts alot of Pop and RnB Music has ALOT of House influence ( Or "Electro" as all the dumbfounded kids like to refer House Music as ), to the point where big names are hiring House artists to produce beats for them ( I for one hate the idea that Pop and RnB Artists are jumping all over the House music bandwagon, for example The Black Eyed Peas who are just horrid to listen to ). I find it quite funny that House was somewhat looked downed upon a while ago, and now It's intensely popular ( Talk about Trends amrite? ).

Anyways aside from the *****ing, I'd like to share with you some great artists out there.

Boys Noize ( Boys Noize Records, Germany )
Breakbot ( Ed Banger Records, France )
The Toxic Avenger ( Iheartcomix, France )
Feadz ( Ed Banger Records, France )
Djedjotronic ( Boys Noize Records, Germany )
Light Year ( Bang Gang Records, Australia )

I still have a ton of other Artists to post up, but I'll leave it till later on, enjoy ;)

WIN!!! House music is the shit these days man, i started listening to that stuff 4-5 years ago, never stopped listening to it. I used to be a big hip hop fan but Hip Hop is just bullshit now, even the artists know that, theyre starting to use House beats in their songs like you said. But going forward, im annoyed as well that House is being abused by artists such as usher, rihanna, etc. However im gonna have to disagree with you MasterSys by saying the black eyed peas are the only ones who are doing it right with house right now. The Time (Dirty Bit) is an awesome song right now, plus Will.I.Am did a song with house DJ Steve Aoki called "I'm in the House" and its off the chain. This is my favourite jam right now:

Afrojack Feat. Eva Simmons - Take Over Control

The Remix is a million times better, here it is:

Enjoy!

Hmmm just not a fan of Will.I.Am trying to commercialise House music alongside David Guetta, plus you have to admit The Black Eyed Peas lyrics just suck so much ass having to rip off an 80's love ballard mixed in with a banging House beat is just wack.

Good tracks posted, I do enjoy some Afrojack, Patcha on Acid was such a great track, my favorite of his.

Thanks but im not of fan of techno, dance, house etc.. If you want to post some classic rock stuff go ahead ;).. Its a reason its called classic because its still being listened to even though its 35-40 years old. House music comes and goes like socks and underwear.

True house music will never be commercialized i think. You make a good point on the Black Eyed Peas song, but i just cant help loving the groove.

House music is awesome, there is a great internet radio called in soul we trust, plays funky, soulful, deep house music. That's the kinda house music I want, and I don't have to worry about finding good songs cuz they are always playing good songs :D

Dope stuff. Although I prefer Drum & Bass/ GOOD Dubstep, this stuff isn't bad. Thanks for the post.

in YOUR opinon it come and goes because you don't listen to it as you said...

If you are fan of ANY genre there will always be classics in your circle/group...

There are house/dance clubs all over the world and there are thousands of "classic" house tracks...more so than you know...

ill post this crystal method -come back clean (kaskade remix)

Show Me Love was always awesome and it was rad when it was re-released in 2008, a little remixed.
