Have you been following MK9 since its debut trailer 9 months ago?

When that trailer first appeared showcasing the first actual 2D gameplay of this game, me and my friend got a little overexcited considering we've both grew up playing MK since 1992. During these last few months that had more kharacter reveals and more gameplay features that would turn anyone 12 years old again, we're a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Counting down each day that passes like an obsession until 4-19-11.

Everyday I think about MK9 and imagining I own a copy of it. I have absolutely zero interest in any other game/movies or anything else out there. To say I am addicted is an understatement.

I am constantly going back and forth between TRMK, MortalKombatonline, MKSecrets, and TotalMK every single day to see even the slightest of updates, spoilers and what not.

So, have any of you been as obsessed/crazed/addicted as I have been for this game?
 
I have a bunch of gameplay videos bookmarked on youtube, and I watch them pretty much everyday. Once the Xbox Demo comes out, I'll be playing that until release day.
 
yep, following since the very first trailer where Kahn and Raiden start to fight, hehe .... and still following daily this game news, ha !
 
i've been checking sites almost daily since the game was announced. i haven't been this excited for a game in a long time. this game will take over my life once it comes out.
 
Just got my April issue of the Official Playstation magazine and the number 1 most anticipated game is Mortal Kombat so I don't think we're alone in our excitement.
 
Yes, i grew up on mkII and love what i have seen so far! I check daily, almost hourly to see the new threads here. I think about most of the day and cannot wait to pick up my copy and pop it in my xbox :D I havent been this excited for a game since Mass Effect 2. Speakin of which, Commander Shepard for DLC? heheh
 
I've been following MK9 since it was mentioned by Ed Boon around the time MKvsDC came out. But I've only been obsessing over it for about a month or two, when they ramped up the hype. Reaching fever pitch having played the demo :D
 
Ive been following it for almost 2 years now. Ed boon hinted MK9 4-5 months after MK. VS. DC.. Ever since i found out i joined twitter, added Ed Boon and joined this site.
 
YES. i was waiting for an HD remake announcement or comfirmation and then the thunder god came in the form of mortal kombat 9. TOO ME it looked just like umk3 so i proceeded to flip out and still do when i see new trailers lol
 
I started to get into after the MKast vids came out with better gameplay and the announcement of Cyrax. I was skeptical because I hated MK vs DC (funny thing is i'm playing MK vs DC til MK9 drops...)
 
Yes I have! And I remember because me and my brother were first watching it and saw when It was gonna come out, and He said "It's like having a Baby" :)
 
Yes Havent been this excited for a game since Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, or maybe Red Dead Redemption been following it since the trailer jumped from totalmortalkombat after being there since 05 and now im here and I like it!!
 
I'll be honest almost any good game that peaks my interest I start becoming slightly obsessed with till the day I get it. Then it eventually wears off after playing it for a month or so then I move on to the next game but with MK it's different since.....it's Mortal Kombat.
 
Actually I was ignorant to its release till about 3 months ago. Then I was like HELL YEA and have been all about it. I would have liked to have been unaware even longer if I could have.

I was unaware of Shogun 2 till the demo came out. Talk about a wonderful surprise. I'm a huge Total War fan but Empire turned me off a little so I hadn't kept up.

The fact I was surprised and not hyped makes me feel I enjoy the game a little more and am less disappointed when I see things I don't like. I remember nitpicking Empire for everything.

But yea this wait for MK is killin me.
 
there were up and downs for me. when the first trailer came out me and my friend were super excited and i kept watching a the first E3 gameplay footage almost everyday, but i kinda didnt think about later was more excited for halo:reach. then september came and was disappointed over the months from the game,halo 3 was more fun. then around february i was super pumped for MvC3 (my first real street fighter style game) and was super disapointed too. (literally almost no content) it was an horrible rushed game. and now april is almost here and lets hope its the first one that doesnt disappoint
