Gears of War 3

I just wanted Golden Hunter and Miner then I was done with those weapon challenges. I can kill bots for only so long.

Also, SAVAGE GRENADIER ELITE IS A BADASS.

Right now I'm going after Seriously 3.0. I have a lot of Gold medals that are close to being onyxed. No doubt about that. Horde is the best thing about this game, also it was the most popular mode in GoW2.

Well people, it seems a new Gears of War game is coming for the Xbox 360, and not for the Xbox 720 or whatever the next gen is going to be called.

That is obviously Marcus going to jail, BTW. Man, I was hoping for a game that went back farther into the Pendulum wars than this recent history....

How do you know if this is Marcus? Cliffy B. stated awhile back that we're going to see more on a character that didn't get much screen time. Anyways he looks more like Prescott, but I doubt it will be about him. IMO a Pendulum Gears game would be boring, they need to have the locust. Although I wouldn't mind if they had some Pendulum war characters, for multiplayer/horde.

Marcus was the only known, popular Gears character that went to prison. It couldn't be Prescott, because he was leading the coalition the entire time. Plus, the shape of the head gives away the do-rag. I'm telling you, it's not going back that far. The most we will get to see is when Marcus sees his father "killed" by the King Raven. The Pendulum Wars era had so much more to do than the recent history behind Marcus getting sent to prison. I, for one, want to see the battle where Carlos Santiago died trying to follow Marcus. Carlos shared more of a brotherly bond with Marcus than Dom. Haven't you also heard about Anya's mother? She died in the same battle when she lobbed some grenades into a Centaur hatch and her uniform got snagged on the vehicle. Plus, Dom was off doing spec-ops stuff while the main offensive from Marcus and the rest of the army was attacking the beaches of Aspho Fields. There is so much they could have done instead of Marcus' time in prison.

I know it's not Prescott, just saying he looks like him. Cliffy B stated that we're going to see more of a different character. But maybe you're right, that's Marcus and we still meet that character Cliffy B stated. I haven't read any of the comics, so I can't comment on the rest of your post.

I actually read Gears of War Aspho Fields, it's the written prequel.

I hope they do show some more Clayton as well, was a bit pissed that they hyped him up so much with that live or die, only for him to be shown for 1/2 an act. Maybe they'll show the 4th brother that was mentioned in GoW2.

He was gone for like 80% of the game.

They didn't even explain what he was doing. I was expecting some behind the scenes Carmine DLC campaign...
