Ok. So Sareena is also a background character. I guess she won't be in the roster since she has her MKA outfit on. And it's annoying Sindel is mistakenly called Mileena.

It talks about 17 "kombatants" have been revealed so far, including Kano and Raiden. Then it goes on to say "apparently there will be a total of 16 playable characters, so there are still some yet to be revealed"
Uhh, I don't quite understand.. does this mean that there will be 17+16 = 33 characters playable?

I noticed that too, but must be just a mistake as it says a total of, not an additional. The article was wrong elsewhere too, so no cause for concern I think.

This whole article is just so pointless, apart from a couple new pictures, nothing new, not only was nothing announced, it just embarassed the name Mortal Kombat by making constant mistakes in addressing and describing characters, just pathetic.

I hope they stick with the idea of having certain newer generation characters as 'background characters', it makes the game seem a lot bigger and much more expanded...if anyone knows what I mean
