Okay, a lot of things have been annoying me lately. The one which has annoyed me the most is fireworks....Over here in britain, it is traditional to have fireworks and bonfires on November 5th to commemorate the foiled plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament by Guy Fawkes in 1605 Full history of this, is right HERE, if you can be bothered reading it.....Now, you might be thinking whats so bad about that.....well, its October 27th now, and for the last two weeks, people have been setting off the damn things, and will continue to set them off up until about the end of November, keeping me up at night, and scaring the life out of all the pets in my street and every other street in the country....Thats not even the worst of it.....What really gets to me, is fu*king idiots who think fireworks are toys, and cant do any damage. Yesterday, a firework was thrown onto my school bus. Luckily it was rather shit, and only left singe marks on bits of the bus, but if this was a bigger and better firework, people may have ended up seriously injured or even worse dead! It really is time for the hooligans who partake in such behaviour to take a long hard look at themselves. In my opinion, capital punishment should be reintroduced, and complete idiots who do things like this, should be hung! Or in the very least, publically flogged. There should be absolutely no place in society for assholes like this, but it just shows what kind of state this world is in nowadays....

Aren't all these kids celebrating a national holdiay? I mean, yeah the fireworks can get quite annoying, but they're doing it for Bonfire Day (if that's what it's called), am I right?

Though throwing a firework into a school bus is pretty heinous. People shouldn't be doing that crap.
 
People who put explosives anywhere near school students are taken very seriously in the US. I'd be indicted so quick I'd be going faster than Mach 5 if I pulled a stunt like that. It's people who do stupid shit like that who make it so you can't use fireworks anywhere.
 
If that's what's got you riled up, be glad that's all it is and that you're in Britain. There's lots worse stuff to worry about over here in the US. Especially in the area where I live and went to school. There was all kinds of crazy shit going on around my neighborhood, fireworks was the least of our worries. We had people bringing guns, knives, real explosives, setting fires. I even did my share of damage with fires and various methods of vandalism, and I was one of the "good ones". Just another day around here.

Not to down play what you're talking about, because I do believe all safety rules and common sense should be taken into consideration regardless of the circumstances, but just be glad it aint worse, like over here.
 
Fireworks can get annoying at night when people set them off, otherwise I enjoy them and other things that god boom.

Kids shouldnt have fireworks in the first place, never mind assholes who endanger peoples lives with them

We get that all the time here too dude, just not the guns so much, but Glasgow(the city where i stay) has at least one stabbing a day, and thats on a good day, as well as the vandalism stuff, and drugs too, its just, at the moment, its fireworks which are really pissing me off!
 
haha yeah it can be annoying at night and stuff like latly over here people have been using alot. goverment over here said if this year it dosent go well (lots of fires ppl hurt stufflike that) there ganna be banded from sales, sucks eh?

Yeah, fireworks can get annoying. I'm usually one of the ones doing it. but I know when to stop at least, I mean kids like blowing crap up.I had to walk 2 miles home and my neighborhoods like a WWII battle zone at 4th of July. I know how you feel man. my neighborhood sounds a lot like frankenberry's, just we have Racing and blasting music more than anything.

but at least it's just 5 more days till the city probably puts a ban after enough disturbance calls.
