Finishing Moves (Other than Fatalities) and 2 secret characters?

In the first quote from the article on MK being banned in Australia it said that each character will have 4 FINISHING MOVES and that there will be more than 60 fatalities in the game. Well as we know there are going to be 26 playable characters at the game’s launch plus unplayable characters. If each character has 2 fatalities we get 26 * 2 = 52, + 4 for an unplayable boss and sub-boss bringing the total to 56 and an additional 2 fatalities for 2 secret characters to bring the total to 60. This system of 2 fatalities per character leaves us with 2 other finishing moves. What do you think about this theory?

all the main iconic characters will have 3 scorpion sub zero . More will come Dlc as well probably have to pay for them.

Babalities will be in there. Someone let it slip in a video interview months back, forget who... Wasn't Hans or Hec or Boon.

That's terrible. They should leave babalities and animalities out of this game. I'm all for fatalities and brutalities and maybe even friendships. But this game doesn't need all that overly goofy crap.

As long as it's something like this...

And Mileena would eat the baby?

Kabal would raise the baby to be his apprentice, only to have it turn on him, start a rebellion, kill him, and then clone him so they can do the whole thing over again, without the baby even knowing if he is a clone or not.

I think a Babality should only come back as someones Friendship lol they could turn a character into a baby while the rest have there own Friendships.

I'm all for animalities and Friendships (adds a little fun) but brutalities and babalities were boring boring boring, they were all the exact same and had no variety, brutalities could have been good but were merely a series of combos then a really unsatisfying explosion, if brutalities make it in then they should at least be different for each person, why not make them extended x-ray moves for each person but x-rays that lead to death?

Aside from the fact that the eagerness with which so many of you are describing the slaughter of babies, which is completely disturbing, I wouldn't worry.

They've pretty much confirmed numerous times already that the ridiculous crap like friendships and babalities will not be in. And at least a couple of times I've seen "Brutalities" thrown around, be it on twitter or news snippets here and there.

Ummm... no??? I'm pretty sure nothing that has been release, quoted, or hinted at has alluded to the inclusion of the most ridiculous and obnoxious waste of programming called Babalities. I mean, if I'm wrong, please provide the link(s) that would verify their possible inclusion.

My reputation is intact around these parts; I'm a member of the gaming media, having worked at IGN for a decade now. I have zero reason to lie about it. :)

That said, I'm pretty certain it was 1) with Shaun, 2) with a lesser-known website than the GameSpots of the world, possibly a foreign website and 3) at a convention -- I recall there being a busy atmosphere. E3? PAX?

One of the finishing moves has to be a Stage Fatality command. Not everyone of them involves a simple uppercut (The Subway is more complex).

For the life of me, I cannot find that interview now. I did find it on these boards, but by now it's likely searching for a needle in a haystack.
