For feudal Japan, I'd love to see samurai warrior Scorpion and Sub-Zero, shogun Raiden (just robes, similar to his MK film appearance) and Quan Chi (heavily armored), and ronin Kenshi. And Kano or Erron Black rocking a Civil War outfit, "The Last Samurai" style.

Yeah, the "samurai" Deception armor. It'll be epic if we see it.

That's Li Mei's MKDA alt, not Mileena.
But yes, that alt makes it obvious that Li Mei was supposed to be Mileena at first, but was changed into a new character.

Well, I was thinking more actual samurai armor, like:

I took an old Scorpion fanart (?) and stuck MK Legacy Scorpion's head on top, because the head was the least samurai-looking thing in this sketch. And I touched up the colors to blend them a little. That's basically what I'd want to see Scorpion looking like, and same goes for Sub-Zero. Just... bluer... and different.
