Fake: Simple + Question

Ok I created three fakes, one just a pose, another a deathtrap (bad idea, i know) and the last during afight. These were simple to make and do not have a real big importance, just something I threw together.

and for those who like it darkened...

<--- no blood

This is the fight sequence followed by the deathtrap...

<--- probably not aligned perfect to the other

Now for the question(s)...how do you make the blood black and still have its texture? Everytime i try it looks like a shadow. Also how do you change the color (green[reptile] or orange[blaze]) without the blood losing it's texture? For the green used in the fake i just used a filter (only works for green) but is there a manually way of doing this?

Yes there is. The hardest way (and the only way I know how) is that, in MS paint or anything like it, zoom all the way in on the blood. Then change to black. color the darkest red black. then go in the custom colors, and move up the brightness stick a little bit (not much). Keep going until you filled it in with the different shades of black.

In the deathtrap, why would it take someone 22 seconds to fall in a trap?

All pretty good, but you gotta work on some stuff.
Sorry, I don't really understand the question.

7/10 on the fakes though.

The time thing is a bit messed up. Or you can think of it in terms that they fought for a little more before he got thrown in.
