frost has been spotted a few weeks back... the people fighting on the bridge seem to change every round.... i wouldn't think they could ALL be secret characters..there's been about 4 different people i think....just background filler

It was kinda weird how Reptile was still standing up after the x-ray when she supposedly slammed his face into the ground.

At least Frost was fighting Quan Chi in Scorpions cinematic fatality trailer. Maybe that was the case this time too. I didn't look for it to be honest ;}

I'm w/ you...I'd rather they didn't show too much before the game comes up. Plus, we're still 2.5 months away...guess people want to know everything NOW? No thanks.
 
It's possible that this was filmed back when Sonya was first shown off in magazines, and this was supposed to be her "in-game footage debut", but G4 just didn't schedule it to air until now. It just got me thinking the way they talked about "Sonya and Jax" being the newest additions, when clearly they've been out for a couple months. I'm sure (well, hope) she's a lot more polished now.

All that aside, her X-Ray is SICK! I love all the hits she gets in before it even begins. Damn, if you can tie that X-Ray combo into a normal combo, then the only way you could escape her X-Ray in a fight is to not get hit.
 
It was at least hinted that Ed would be coming back to X-Play to promote MK some more before the game comes out...hopfully it will be a longer segment with better gameplay and more info.
 
I've just watched it: nothing really new, just the Sonya's X-ray and the Goro's Lair which is more "open" than before, not just cells and hanging skeletons...
Also I don't know if it's a new build: if yes, nothing has changed so all the words about further improvements aren't exactly true, judging from what has been just shown...

That's what I was thinking.
Sonya's X-Ray (although it was bad-ass) didn't look finished to me, either.
The video might have been made when Sonya was "FIRST" revealed in the mag, just like you said.
 
What did I miss? I read a few pages page and saw the link to the 4 minute G4 video. Was that it?
 
Just watched it, and i gotta say it was meh at best
only new thing was Sonya's xray, everything else seems like stuff most fans already knew

Also we don't know when each character has been actually added to the game, I don't think they reveal a new one each time they finalize him/her so maybe they got Sonya finished like in july but they showed her just lately.
Clearly something was still missing...
