Well, long story short, he just tweeted this picture saying "Hmmm... Interesting. Probably doesn't mean anything..."

Remember one of the first hints at Mortal Kombat X was a practically identical picture of a Lincoln MKX.

A 3D remake of MK Trilogy perhaps?
 
For the love of god, seen this yesterday! Seriously Ed's such a nasty troll, he throws shit at us...
In 3 days he will probably tweet a picture of the moon, and put under it "speculate" lmao

He also tweeted that ermac pic again, thats 2x he did that, Ermac getting revealed next?
 
I know he's a troll but I just couldn't let it go unnoticed.
No matter how much of a troll he is, you can never know for sure.

MK Trilogy was ace at the time. If they sorted the graphics out and some balance issues it would be even better. Balance issues i doubt would effect anyone on here.
 
Maybe they'll take the resources from the unfinished HD kollection and use it to make Trilogy. From what I heard it was laggy and unstable on ps3 and 360. Maybe ps4 can handle it better? Then again I think this is troll bait and we're looking way too far into it. Boon has a thing for Lincolns
 
Not sure if you guys checked his latest response on Cyrax???

Im going to be soooooooooooooooooooo angry if they leave him out... Been a fan of cyrax since he was introduced, he cant do this, he better be trolling, not only me but thousands of cyrax fans are going to be very very angry with Ed.

I don't see why people would be actually angry if a character is not in. It's this entitlement that has been holding the series back and giving us the same characters we've already seen for most of the series.

Let the cleansing begin! New characters! (Yes, even if Reptile isn't in, I'll be okay since it's for the betterment of the series at large)

Popular characters ARE entitled to stay. They are what sell the game.

Well there are certain characters that have. Certain charm about them and just can't be replaced...characters like Cage,Scorpion,subzero and Ermac are forever...

Think about it..



It comes off really cheesy if you get rid of Ermac and bring in another character that plays like ermace just for the sake of trying to move on and create something different.I feel like they will only bring back the 12 most popular characters
 
Ed Boon's post on Cyrax was him making a joke about Cyrax running late because Cyrax was sitting in a bus. I think some fans are getting upset and mad over a joke tweet.

I hope you are right, while I do somewhat agree with what most of you say, as in make room for new characters, its just no one ever complained about cyrax, he was like the silent character that got his place in MK, I've seen a lot of people argue they want Tanya or Fujin over lets say mileena or people say "omg leave johhny and sonya out bla bla"

If people talk about cyrax & sektor its like (imho) they are the accepted characters that made lets say MK3 easy for people to remember, talking about it... Hey do you remember MK3? And people will go "oooh wasn't that with the yellow and red robots?"

Trying to keep a heads up, but ill most definately be let down if cyrax isn't going to be playable, seen I truly want to see how they make him look like, in this much darker (serious) itteration of MK.

I'll just have to hold my breath for the mountain of awesomeness that is cyrax :'D

i know dude! Cyrax is the only fighter in MK9 i can pull off a 21 hit combo with. His moves are slick and deadly. Hes my favorite too. Reptile and sub zero a close second

I may be wrong, but didn't Ed Boon kinda update that?

So it's not like he was joking, he probably just hinted at it a little too soon.
 
Ed Boon made a lot of purple rain tweets a while back in June or July, people thought it was a teaser for Rain but it was nothing.
