Ok, ok, I know ive posted this b4. But Iv'e updated my cast, and added many people. If you agree, or dis-agree with any of them, please tell me

Ashrah = Famke Janssen: She is conservative, yet beautiful enough for this role.
Baraka = Sam Rockwell: He seems to be a little crazy and berzerker
Blaze = Shaquille O'Neal: I always thought they looked alike
Bo' Rai Cho = Chow Yung Fat: I think that, if they give him a body suit, hed do a great job
Cyrax = LL Cool J: Hes a good actor
Dairou = Colin Farrel: Hes a badass
Darrius = Djimon Hounsou: He reminds me of Darrius
Drahmin = Doug Jones: Plays makeup roles well (Hellboy)
Ermac = Jonathan Rhys-Meyers: His eyes hve a ghostly look to them
Frost = Keira Knightley: Im in love with her
Fujin = Terence Stamp: Plays god-like characters well (Superman II)
Goro = CGI, voiced by Michael C. Duncan: Although making a body-suit wouldnt work, I think thatusing Michael Clarke Duncan's voice would make Goro capable of being more than just a brute
Havik = Cillian Murphy: Plays a psycho well (Batman Begins)
Hinoka = Stephen Chow: Reminds me of him
Hotaru = Nick Gillard: Looks like him
Hsu Hao = Dalip Singh: Hes the largest living human, and could play Hsu Hao the way he should be played; a submissive, pawn of Mavado
Jade = Meagon Good: She can be sexy when she wants to be
Jarek = Edward Norton: plays a good criminal (Fight Club)
Jax Briggs = Tyrese Gibson: I think hed make Jax very by the book, and loose at the same time
Johnny Cage = Chris Evans: Reminds me of im alot!
Kabal = Danny Trejo: Looks like him, pre-mask
Kai = Tony Jaa: Hes one of the best martial artists ive seen in a long time
Kano = Mickey Roarke: He plays a good thug (Sin City)
Kenshi = Daniel Southworth: This is rumored to take place in the 3rd MK movie, and I think itd work very well.
Kintaro = CGI: couldnt be one with a suit
Kira = Charlize Theron: she can be sexy and scary
Kitana = Natalie Portman: Im also in love with her, and she fit the outfit very well
Kobra = Garret Hedlund: Looks like him
Kumari = Vin Diesel: His voice wouldnt be used, only his CGI acting (same with Stephen Chow as Hinoka)
Kung Lao II = Collin Chou: He was my favorite character in the Matrix Trilogy
Li Mei = Ziyi Zhang: She plays a good young assasin (Hero)
Liu Kang = Jason Scott Lee: He reminded me of him skill-wise in Dragon, and looks-wise in the Jungle Book
Mavado = Clive Owen: reminds me of him
Meat = CGI: Hed just be a skeleton
Mileena = Natalie Portman: Kitana and Mileena are supposed to look alike, minus the mouths
Mokap = Wes Bentley: idk
Moloch = CGI: couldnt be done with a suit
Motaro = Patrick Kake: Plays a good centaur (Narnia)
Nightwolf = Louie Leonardo: reminded me of him in End of the Spear
Nitara = Angelina Jolie: She would make a good vampire
Noob Saibot = Wentworth Miller: He would be covered in black make up for this role, and hed be hard to recognize, so the fact that he and Sub-Zero are the same dude would come as a suprise
Ohona = CGI: couldnt be done with a suit
Onaga = CGI, voiced by Vin Diesel: Vin Diesel's voice would make a great dragon emperor
Quan Chi = James Marsters: Plays a good manipulative genius (Smallville)
Raiden = Ian McKellan: Even though hes older, I think hed make an outstanding Raiden, hed bring him a Gandolf vibe
Rain = Will Yun Lee: looks like him i think
Reiko = Rufus Sewell: looks like him
Reptile = Ray Park: reminded me of him in X-Men
Sareena = Carla Gugino: reminds me of him
Scorpion = Tom Jane: I think Jane is a very good actor, and Scorpion would basically be the star of the movie, and Jane could make that happen
Sektor = Curtis Jackson: reminds me of him
Shang Tsung = Ken Watanabe: makes a good villian (Batman Begins)
Shao Kahn = Domonic Purcell: idk
Sheeva = Omahyra Mota: reminds me of her (X3)
Shinnok = Crispen Glover: makes a good psycho
Shujinko = Liam Neeson: plays a good wiseman (Star Wars Episode I, Batman Begins)
Sindel = Monica Belluci: looks like her
Smoke = James Franco: idk
Sonya Blade = Jaime King: plays a good fighting-girl (Bulletproof Monk)
Stryker = Ryan Reynolds: Plays a funny guy very well
Sub-Zero V = Wentworth Miller: i love him in Prison Break
Sub-Zero VI = Daniel Gillies: i think this would work very well
Tanya = Rosario Dawson: plays a good bitch (Sin City)
 
I think alot of em were bad, but 4 particularly.

First Natalie Portman as Kitana/Mileena would have to be the single worst cast in movie history, in case you didnt notice Kitana is NOT white, nor is she a scrawny teenage lookin chick.

Second Megan Good as Jade. Again if your going to cast a character they have to be the right race, and Jade is not black(although I love Megan Good) and that is almost as bad as the previous one.

Third Keira Knightly as Frost. See a little trend appearing. Just cuz you like someone doesnt mean they are right for any role in a MK movie and Frost IS NOT WHITE.

Fourth Jaime King as Sonya. You may have gotten the race right, but Sonya is not a skinny ass heroin addict(which James King use to be) nor look anything close to Jaime King.

Plus Thomas Jane would be better as Johnny Cage than Scorpion, the only person that should play Raiden is Christopher Lambert not old ass Gandalf(even though Raidens hair is white he does not have the appearance of a 70 year old). Since you like Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley so much they would fit better as Kira than anyone else, especially not Charlize Theron. I think Zhang Ziyi would be good in it but not sure about as Li Mei. I like Vin Diesel but he has no business in a MK movie, same thing with Chris Evans. Djimon Hounsou is too big to be Darrius, he would be perfect as Jax though IMO except for his accent, or even LL would be better as Jax, he has the same cocky type attitude.

Ok, then what is Kitana, if shes not white. She definetly NOT asian. Jade is definatly black, your assuming that shes asian because she was in MK Annihilation. FROST is WHITE!!! Idk wut ur seeing, she isnt not asian. Jaime King would rock ask Sonya, shes got the attittude for it. Tom Jane is Scorpion, enough sayed. Theres no one better in my book. I kno Raiden isnt old in the games, but I still think that would be cool. Charlize Theron has a similar look to Kira in Aeon Flux, so that would work just fine. Vin Diesel wouldnt be in the movie, he would play Kumari with no voice, and just do the CG work for him. And his voice would be used for Onaga. Chris Evans is soooo much like Johnny Cage, if they died his har brown, you would see it. Djimon Hounsou isnt that big, hed work for Darrius. LL was my first choice for Jax, but I changed my mind. I like Tyrese for that role better.
 
I don't know what you have against this thread, but you don't get to post your own topic for this stuff just because of how fantastic you think your casting choices are.

Dude your a dumbass, most of the characters ARE Asian. Kitana, Jade, Frost(although you could possibly get away with a white chick playing her) are easily Asian. Scorpion, Sub-Zero and every other Ninja in MK is ASIAN not white. And Chris Evans doesnt look old enough to be Johnny Cage.
 
I don't want to seem mean, but all the actors/actresses you mentioned to play the characters you would like to see is very bad. I'm not saying those actors/actresses are bad, but to play as MK characters???? Think about it. Micky Rourke as Kano.... Chris Evans as Johnny Cage.... DON'T DISRESPECT JOHNNY CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. Anyway I like Micky and Chris, but to play as them, nope. Then all the others oh man.... I like what I have seen in the first MK movie. Those actors/actresses ARE meant for the roles they played. Hopefully if the next movie comes out, we get to see them again(Which we will? What's the news on the new movie??)
 
Dude shes freaken dark skinned, shes not black. Not all Asians are the exact same color, just like not all black people and white people are the exact same color. But the simple fact is most of your pics are horrible.
 
Jade, Kitana come from Edenia. Memebrs of their race can be 'tanned'. Tanya, Jade... They are both Edenian.

Asian and African... Things like that don't really exist in Edenia.

And frost is white, same with Subby. Though subby you can get away with a hint of chinese look to him since he is half American and half Chinese.
 
also a lot of these people just aren't bulky enough for the roles. tom jane as scorpion? he wasn't even muscular enough for the punisher. the only characters that should look asian imo are liu kang, kung lao and scorpion, altho replacing Cary and Talisa as Shang Tsung and Kitana would be sacrilage. apart from the ninjas i think i kept all of the cast from the first movie. actually, i changed sonya too, but that was to kerri hoskins, who IS sonya

Yea I was sketchy about her myself, she seems a bit too young, but can you think of anyone better? she has to be asian cause kitana's asian and if that wasnt a constraint Id be 100% behind Monica Belluci
 
I'm ok with the list... Ok some were/are pretty bad. But it isn't like I would take the time to make one myself, so I really can't say anything until I do.

Sub-Zero and Scorpion are Japanese. Thus they can't be American with a partial part of Sub. Note: I kno Japanese people count as Asian people.

Kabal from what we know is American, as is Stryker and a few other human characters. Sonya/Johnny/Jax. the Cyborgs count as neither because of what they are.

Noob-Saibot and Scorpion are dead so they don't count.

Uh guy Kitana isn't Asian, and Jade has more of a tan thing going. *It really hasn't been fully cleared up*

Liu is Asian.
 
By all means phoenix, critisize, just dont insult. I dont mind if you say that you dont like somebody on the list, but when you say so, tell me someone better that you've thought of, otherwise you rele dont have the right to say my ideas are bad, because you have nothing better.

I already stated that though.

I said "I really cant crit since I don't have my own list" -or something like that I wasn't insulting you. But you must admit the first list was a little bad, the second was ok IMO, but going back to I need to make my own thing, before I can crit.

I did that because he/she is very racist towards the characters and Americans/other civilians. Thus I decided why not insult the flamer.
 
I kno that, and i dont think you were insulting me, Im just saying that I agree with you, and I dont apreciate the harsh criisizm that ive been getting, even tho theyve come up with nothing better

The only problem is there are way too many good actors, that would fit certain characters. *Such as Scorpion*

That is why I hadn't made my list yet. I have to narrow down over thousands of them... And pin-point the exact "No freaking way is he playing him" scenario.

But anyway glad to have cleared that up.

But seriously the any person saying that Kitana is Asian/etc. That is what pisses me off, stupidity and blind ignorance. Since A)She is paticulary white in the games, and B)She is Edenian thus she is neither.

Hell Jade looks African to me not Asian, and no I don't mean black I mean she looks like she was born in an African Rain Forest.

Also Frost isn't Asian it never states she came from Japan. It says only Earth Realm. Sub-Zero is already known for being from Japan *but moving to Earth*, and as Scorpion even though now he is from Hell... LMAO.

But all in all I don't think anyone can say it is bad since A)We're all going to disagree sooner or later, B)It'll lead to fighting/flame wars, etc.

So I say leave the list alone, because I don't think movie theaters are going to just come here and choose from the list. *No offense/offence Kal-El*
