I like that manchurian look. Also Sub Zero is chinese which makes sense. Also love that medellion on his waist and the dragonscale clothing. Best Sub Zero costume ever!!! I would probaly be happier if they added a more elaborate mask design.

It was at least fresh and new, I like to see them experiment with costumes, it's always fun to see what they'll do.
 
Shredder-Zero was awsome, hands down the best design because it was different from all his otherones same with his monk design

I just realized something are we gonna see how Sub Zero got his scar and are we going to have an alt that has that scar or is it never going to happen in this reboot? Some fuel for thought I guess.

Interesting I wonder if we will have an unmasked alt as well....Im mixed on that, if it were to look good with a new design Id like it

I'd like to see that but I hope he does look like a Chinese American this time around and not just American like in MK3.
 
I agree with the Shredder-Zero. He was awesome. But I'm starting to like this character, whoever it is. I'm gonna say it is Smoke, and if it is, SWEET. Can't wait to see if they have an actually reveal/combo video of him.
 
I think it's human smoke. The color, umk3 ish costume and mask all point out to hs. I like it, same goes for SZ's pony tail look in MKD.

@zafiro you said it looked like smoke had an afro in the selection screen, isn't this maybe due to tha background in his picture?...so far everybody had the same red background, but I hope and imagine they changed this and put a cloud of smoke in the background of his chracter selection pic. I really hope so...that is the only thing that bothers me in the selection screen, lack of (oldskool) backgrounds.
 
That probably is human Smoke. Not horrible design, but could be better. I would like if the hair was somewhat shorter. It's hard to tell his full costume, because that picture has blood and body damage on it. And I really want to see his moves now.
 
WOW you know what I noticed in the picture as well. They are sitting on $800.00 Herman Miller Chairs with lumbar support, damn NRS is living in luxory.

I don't think they would put a cloud of smoke around him. Just based off of the reason that Sub-Zero doesn't have any ice and Scorpion doesn't have any fire in theirs. I mean, its different I know, but you think if they did it to Smoke they would do it to every ninja.
 
Yes, that IS the question. But I actually just saw that thread with the leaked picture of Smoke in the selection screen. And I think I was right.
 
old subby without mask looked amaaazing in MKD, if they just kept his outfit the ninja outfit instead of the MK3 retro outfit, he would have looked waaay badass, old grizzled up ninja, doesnt get much cooler than that in my book
