Dishonored DLC, The Knife Of Daud.

I'll be honest; I didn't give 2 shits about Dishonored multi-player DLC, but some DLC where you can play through Daud's point of view.
F*** YES!!!!
This shit looks AMAZING!!!
I have a good feeling that this will explain some the missing Daud story elements in Dishonored, which made his part of the story feel awkward, otherwise. :)

Bethesda can have have my money.
Same here.;)
Arkane Studios has proven that they can do some awesome stuff, and I can't wait.

Also, I noticed that I meesed up on the title of the thread.
It should say "The Knife Of Dunwall" not "Daud."

I know it's a double post, but I decided to give it a bump, considering that I found some of the DLC Trophies.

If you are interested, here are the Trophies for "The Other Side Of The Coin" DLC:

Spoiler:
* Just Business - You got the information needed from the Rothwild Slaughterhouse
* Missing Pieces - You obtained Delilah Copperspoon’s identity from Thalia Timish
* Well Connected - You purchased all of the Favors in The Other Side of the Coin
* No Regrets - You completed The Other Side of the Coin in High Chaos
* Redemptive Path - You completed The Other Side of the Coin in Low Chaos
* Whisper Ways - You completed The Other Side of the Coin without alerting anyone
* Cleaner Hands - You completed The Other Side of the Coin without killing anyone
* Rats and Ashes - You caused a death using an arc mine and a rat
* Message from the Empress - You performed a drop assassination from atop the Empress statue
* Stone Cold Heart - You spoke with the statue of Delilah in Timsh’s estate

I love Dishonored to death, and I'm glad DLC is still coming out. But just imagine.... 8 people teleporting around and having swordfights on the rooftops or streets. People vanishing instantly to get out of a situation. Summoning hordes of rats on other players, or windblasting people off the map. I know it is not needed, but I think Dishonored multiplayer would be cool.

I wonder if there's going to be any new powers in this.

Yes, there will be new powers.

According to Bethesda, players will have access to new weapons, gadgets and abilities as Daud and will “embark on a search for redemption” in Knife of Dunwall. Daud’s abilities include “Summon Assassin,” which calls upon the Whalers, Daud’s “loyal band of mercenary assassins.” Daud will also utilize Void Gaze, which tracks down hidden Runes and Bone Charms, as well as his own variation of Blink, the teleportation power seen in the core game. Daud will also use Chokedust, which dazes enemies, Stun Mines to shock targets and a concealed Wristbow that can fire sleep darts and explosive bolts.

As for multi-player:

I wouldn't want multi-player for this game.
As it is, I can't stand the fascination that people have with multi-player these days, and would hate to see a game that I love ruined by the whole "dude bro" community of @$$hole online shooter gamers.
Online multi-player would turn Dishonored into a generic FPS, where you would have people squatting around in 1 location waiting to take people out, other people sneaking up and knifing people, and people that would stand over the respawn places and kill people as soon as they respawned.
No thanks.
My intention wasn't to offend you, but I'm f***ing fed-up with this whole FPS mentality and the whole online "dude bro" attitude.

Spoiler:
I hope near the end of the DLC we get to fight Corvo like we did in the main game after the loyalists betrayed him.

Agreed.
I hope so to.
If the DLC at least leads up to that part, then I would feel better knowing that Daud's back-story has been better explained. ;)

I think I'm starting to prefer Daud over Corvo.

Me too.
I'm liking that he has more non-lethal options too.
Corvo only had sleep bolts.

I noticed in the video that when he went to the power wheel (0:41 mark), it said "Summon a novice assassin."
I'm wondering if you upgrade the power to Level 2, if it will say "Summon a master assassin." :)

(Necessary Old Ezio facepalm is necessary) XD

Unnecessary facepalm is unnecessary.

It's a legit question to ask.
Maybe level 2 WON'T be summoning a master assassin, but that summoned novice assassin would help for a longer time period, just like the bend time power.
Unless you've played the demo, your facepalm is invalid.

I see your face palm and raise you a double facepalm.
