Dishonored: All Things Dishonored related

I'm extremely hopeful for one soon. But not too soon, the first came out at the end of 2012. So 2015 would be a great time for a new game. Part of me is glad that it did not blow up in popularity, I would hate to see a new Dishonored every year.

Agreed.
I'd HATE to see an Assassin's Creed type of thing going on with Dishonored.
Arkane Studios (IMO) doesn't seem to be like Ubisoft, where an Assassin's Creed game comes out (or is announced) every 6 months to a year. :)
Even with Dishonored now being a franchise, I could see Arkane doing a sequel every 2 or 3 years, which is just about on par with normal games these days.

I agree, though.
2015 would be a great time for a new Dishonored sequel.
Although, if they do make Dishonored II, I hope that they also do a special edition of Dishonored II and include a port of Dishonored I to current-gen (PS4 and X1).
Kinda of like a 2-game special edition.
If I could get Dishonored I on PS4 or X1 (I haven't decided yet) along with Dishonored II, it would give me an excellent reason to sell my PS3.
The only reason that I have not sold my PS3, as of now, is because of Dishonored.

Nintendo did it with Bayonetta 2, including the first game with the second. If they decided to port Dishonored 1 (+ DLC) and make it 1080p 60 fps with a graphics overhaul...

In a world of remakes, that would be amazing.

Agreed.
Given that Injustice is on PS4 and MKX is on PS4, if they ever DID if they port it over in 1080p and 60 fPS along with the DLC, my PS3 would be on eBay the very next day.

I don't need a graphics overhaul but high-end modded PC playable graphics, like this on PS4 and X1, would be awesome though....

I would absolutely LOVE to see another Dishonored.

There's one particular character I would definitely love to see return and that's Granny Rags. Just everything about her and the books that you collect that talks about her past and how she becomes and such. I don't know why, but I would like to see more of this character. She was great.

But of course, Corvo won me over... I'm trying to get my boyfriend to name our first dog Corvo instead of Arthas.

Same here, Kitty_55.
A Dishonored sequel would be awesome.

Yeah, Vera Moray was a pretty cool character.
Something tells me that she and the Outsider once dated at 1 point or were seeing each other, when she was younger, and things then went bad.
As for a possible Dishonored sequel: I've always kept wondering how much time Corvo has left to be in a sequel.
I mean, Corvo doesn't die until Emily becomes "Emily The Wise," when she buries Corvo next to her mother, in which she looks to be in her late 40s or early 50s.
So, that's about a good 40 (or so) years more that Corvo is alive, right?
Or do you guys think that another protagonist would be a better way to go?

Hints at what may be next, if there is a sequel.....

I would LIKE to see more of Corvo, and I think seeing what he becomes with Emily and such would be a good story to show, however, I'd like to see how he became the royal protector. I mean, you can only go so far with collecting the journals and such and it tells you but I'd like to see it come to life more than anything.

That or have some new fella, like Billie.

So, like a prequel or flashbacks?

That would be great too.
Maybe playing as 1 of the Whalers. :)
Playing as Daud was amazing and super fun, IMO.
I really loved The Knife Of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches DLCs, and thought it was a great way to put a spin on the powers while also allowing to use mines and stun mines.
I loved the fact that you could stop in mid-air with Daud and change the direction of the Blink.
Using the Pull power to use bodies as shields was also brilliant.

There was a power that Harvey Smith told me on Twitter that they wanted to put in, but didn't have time to implement, called "Become A Shadow."
As the name suggests, Corvo would literally become the enemy's shadow and pop out when the time expired.
I'm hoping that something like "Become A Shadow" would be a power that they implement if there is a sequel.

A prequel could work. I really enjoyed the two DLC stories (and the Dunhill Trials), it was such a different story. But yes, a prequel showing how Corvo became the Royal Protector, or even showcasing other characters that have a big role in this game, would satisfy me. I mean, this game literally is one of my all-time favorites, whatever they come up with (that is if they do) I would certainly welcome it immediately, even if it has nothing to do with Corvo at all.

And the "Become A Shadow" ability, ooh, one can only think of what you can do with that.

There are a lot more people with the Outsider's mark. I would not mind more Corvo, but I would be open to a new guy/girl as well. They made such a big world with this IP and I'm just waiting for them to fill it up.

Yeah, I loved the DLC stories.
It made Daud fit into the main Dishonored game better.
Without the 2 story DLCs, the Flooded District part in the main Dishonored game (IMO), felt a bit out of place.
A prequel could work, but a prequel would have to be with another character who had received the Outsider's mark (which I also wouldn't mind seeing), since Corvo didn't get his powers until after Jessamine died.
Same here.
I still play Dishonored to this day, and it's 1 of the few that I DO play on PS3.
I would also welcome a prequel or sequel as well, even if Corvo isn't the antagonist in the next one.
Dishonored has become my go-to stealth game over MGS, and that's saying a lot.

I think there were like 10 more people aside from Daud and Corvo, but I'm not 100% sure about how many people had the mark.
Agreed.
Traveling to the other Isles in Dishonored like Tyvia, Serkonos (where Corvo is from), Morley or other parts of Gristol (aside from Dunwall) would be cool. 8)

I still play Dishonored as well, mainly because I cannot sit here and allow myself to not obtain the achievement where I haven't gotten spotted once. There are times where I just don't get what I do to cause people to find me but I will have a stealth game beaten where I haven't gotten spotted once.

With that said, I too wouldn't mind expanding the world to see the other isles come into play, even if we have nothing to do with Corvo if a sequel (or prequel) is to come about. I'm probably repeating myself, and I apologize if I am, but I really just don't see this game being it. It's not like it didn't sell or got bad reviews. And I was really hoping at E3 they had some kind of announcement but it was just a joke... or whatever it was with that random screenshot showing "Dishonored 2."

Kitty_55, agreed.
I still have 2 Trophies, which I'm surprised that I still haven't gotten in Dishonored (Versatile - Killing people with each weapon type and Gentlemen Callers - Killing Slackjaw and putting him in the boiling pot per Granny's instruction), and Dishonored will be the 2nd game that I will have Platinumed.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed that those 2 rumors of a sequel reveal (E3 and Gamescom) never came true.
I'm hoping for a sequel announcement at E3 2015 and if there's nothing revealed by then, I may just sell my PS3 anyways and get Dishonored on PC, for $10 on Steam.

Oh me gwad!

 @ the .gif.

I could definitely use more Dishonored, sequel or not.
Even if it means a current-gen (PS4 and X1) port of Dishonored, The Knife Of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches.

I sincerely hope that this is true, this time, though.
It may or may not have anything to do with Corvo, as you previously mentioned, but I just want Dishonored on my PS4.
That "Turn Into A Shadow" power, that I previously explained, would be awesome, as well as being able to possess birds.
Possessing birds would allow for other stealth options, IMO.
It would also be awesome if in the sequel (if there is 1) you could to do more than just open doors while in possession of a human.
Being able to take someone else out while possessing another person and then jumping out would make that possessed person look guilty of said crime, thus framing them for something they didn't do (for example).

Interesting article I found.
While I do believe that the whole "Dishonored II" image was a good Photoshop fake, I do hope that the likelihood of Dishonored II and Fallout 4 are that high.

Either way, Bethesda's E3 2015 Conference kicks off on June 14th (Sunday) @ 7PM.

As soon as I find out the link to where the Bethesda Conference can be live streamed, though, I'll post it here. ;)
