i REALLY love that xrays and fatalies arent insanely difficult to pull off.
and i love that only the 4 buttons are used for punch and kick and not like 15 like SSF4. also combos are easier to do and more accessible than SSF4 so im the happiest man alive

what a great demo this new mk is incredible haha take that 360 fans lmao its about time ps3 owners get stuff first , i remember xbox got the 2k11 demo first and i was pissed, well this is payback lol i find it easier to perform moves on the d-pad than the stick, im still getting the TE MK but ill practice more with the stick, at first i thought sub-zero was really slow but after i started doing his combos it was so quick and responsive. sure scorpion is faster but subzero fans shouldnt feel so bad subby has some quick combos.

Just played the demo and its awesome!!!!! My only question/concern is that some of the color in the demo mainly black looks a bit greyish. Not on the costumes but in the background especially in the video montage at the end. Maybe its just my eyes, being tired and all. Has anyone else noticed this?

I understand what they were trying to do with making Sub-Zero and Scorpion feel different to each other with regards to speed and strength, and I can live with it, but I wish Subby were faster in the full game. Just take out those infinite ground freeze shenanigans.

Holy crap I love it, it isn't as slow as I thought it would be and its at a nice pace.
Combos are fun to pull off and they're really fluid aswell ( Although they're a bit too easy at times ), the gameplay feels like Tekken 3 and Mortal Kombat 2 had a baby with Street Fighter 2 as the Godmother, I dig it ALOT.
The graphics look stunning and the detail they've put into it is amazing, although there's some designs that look out of place, I don't like the main menu, it looks ugly and I hate the font they've used and the Health and Super bars look out of place compared to the whats happening on the screen.
I've only had a go with Scorpion but he's a fun character to use, I'm surprised though on how easy it is to pull of his movelist and his Special move combinations are dead easy to remember. Although I've had troubles doing the stage fatality with him, I seriously hate inputs that require you to press up because the damn character ends up jumping and it ruins the combination.
Overall I'm very impressed, NRS has definately managed to make the game a bit more noob freindly compared to the other Fighting games out there but there's definately room for strategic and technical playing. Can't wait to dog the Government into sneaking a copy of Mortal Kombat when it comes out!

It's a bit misleading though having the input command F,U,U,Circle on the Movelist menu, but cheers will give that a go, looks simple to me ey

Well, I've finally gotten my hands on it...and I just can't believe how much I love it. I recently bought (and most promptly re-sold) MvC3 and I gotta say this is worlds better.
The combos are fluid (and best of all, short). The controls are simple and precise (No dragon punch motion!) and the fatalities are not only easy but they're damned entertaining!
Scorpion's a beast as usual, but I've always been better with Sub-Zero. Every game, I like Scorpion more, end up playing as Sub. Real annoying. But I think Sektor and Noob Saibot have me when the full game is released.

Really? I figured everyone should know to block for Up fatalities since the old days....It's a bit misleading though having the input command F,U,U,Circle on the Movelist menu, but cheers will give that a go, looks simple to me ey

Lol i kno right, just downloaded it and camera thats showing the fight is like showing an over head view of the fight which is weird because it doesnt look like this in any other demo playthrough that ive seen on youtube
