Cyber Sub Zero getting Unmasked MK3 Sub Zero costume?

Cyrax is my favorite character and I enjoy playing with the cyborg as well as his human form. With the same move set. I wouldnt wanna play human Cyrax with move set different from his Cyborg version. That is what you are asking me to do with (Cyber) Sub Zero...Kuai Liang is the Cyber Sub zero just like Cyrax is the Cyborg, so there is nothing wrong with that. You had two human SZ, the masked and Unmasked SZ, in Trilogy....

Anyway, what would you guyz suggest CSZ get for alternate costume??

I know there are a number of people who think it would be pretty cool to see CSZ get an MK3 costume when NRS releases the MK3 duds for Cyrax and Sektor. Could be a cool little "what if" costume. Swap out the Red/Yellow with a pale, glacial blue.

That kinda doesnt make sense.. there is a big difference between a Cyrax and Sub Zero.. Cyrax has always been a cyborg since his debut in MK3.. Sub Zero has always been human til they decided to turn him into Cyber Sub Zero
in the new time line.. so yes Kuai Lang is Cyber Sub Zero, but Kuai Lang is also regular Sub Zero

In that time there wasnt alternates (they appeared in MKT for first time) also there were 2 Sub-Zero's because one was bihan and the other kuai liang.

Now in this times they can make alts so they can make an unmasked alt for normal SZ, there is no reason why they would make a human alt for Cyber SZ.
The idea makes no sense, it would like NRS realising an MK3 Retro Cyborg Costume for Human SZ, do you see what is wrong there? is the same applied to your idea.

Human SZ is human, and CSZ is cyborg. Noo need for a human alt for CSZ or a cyborg alt for SZ.

I would like CSZ to have as alts, the costume from his ending and a retro cyborg alt, as is the only retro outfit i think looks cool.
and SZ to have his MKD as an alt, I never liked it as a main but it would be cool as an alt.

When we talk about "retro", having a blue MK3 cyber outfit for Kuai Liang wouldnt be retro. However, an unmasked SZ would!

It wont be a cross, his moves would be adapted to a human form (just like Cyrax and Sektor in MK9). I remember people writing in different forum that Human Cyrax should get his own slot but it didnt work out that way..But I understand you, you just dont like unmasked ninja...The costume from his ending?? You gotta be kidding me...

Yh but the problem of your logic is that if they realese an unmasked SZ costume they would do it for SZ not for CSZ. If the game would only feature CSZ and not human SZ, the human skin for CSZ would be an option, but having a human SZ, the human alt should be for human SZ. Thats the obvious way but who knows, NRS does weird things.

Im ok with SZ as an alt (just ok, i prefer it to never return) only if its an alt, I dont want it to be his main in any game.

Also the actual human cyborgs concept is cool but the costumes dont convince me at all, and some moves like Sektor's teleport looks lame and retarded, I was hoping them to be different characters being Sektor a fire controller and Cyrax some kinda of plasma controller, but NRS is lazy sometimes.

Yeah, NRS is lazy. I was shocked to see that they bothered changing animations for human Cyrax and Sektor.
 
i despise MK3 SZ's look. who wears freaking spandex pants with suspenders? at least Smoke still has his mask on when he left the Lin Kuei. i don't like the hair at all but other than that, he looks pretty awesome. i respectfully to disagree with a MK3 alternate for SZ.
 
I'm not opposed to the MK3 costume (in fact I hope we get it as DLC) but giving it to Cyber Sub doesn't make much sense. We already have a human Sub giving Cyber Sub a human alt would ruin what he is. He is a Cyborg version of Sub.
Unlike Cyrax and Sektor who were always Cyborgs, there alts just show what they looked like as humans. We already know what Sub-Zero looks like as a human.

No, you dont. Not without a mask, you never see how Kuai Liang looks like in MK9....The reason I'd prefer it for CSZ is coz he is faster and acrobatic (like a ninja should be). The human Sub Zero we have atm is slow and doesnt have interesting combos, unlike CSZ...

I'll admit that I complain about some costume desighns in the game, but now that I think about it, nothing comes close to how bad unmasked SubZero was. Picture all the excited kids back in 95 going to play MK3 for the first time, cant wait to see their favorite characters again.
...........then they see Subzero............. in all his shiny black haired goodness

But on Topic, I'd still like to see his unmasked costume come back, even if it was dumb, It would be a nice throwback to MK3.As a 3rd NORMAL Subzero costume, giving it to Cyber sub would just be a spit in the face to fans, just like the character himself, but I'll stop there with that subject, otherwise I'd be here ranting all day haha

Normal Sub-Zero is closer to the body type of MK3 Sub-Zero. Cyber Sub-Zero is thinner and not as close. Also why is it that ninja have to be fast?

Well you have to be fast coz you wanna surprise and kill quickly. I done a bit of martial art back in the day and speed is one of the key. An alternate costume changes also the body type, so it isnt really relevant.

In real life ninja usually poisoned people they never really went into combat. It all depends on the style of martial arts.

I just think that giving Cyber Sub-Zero a human alt would ruin what he is a cyber version of Sub-Zero. Calling him Cyber Sub-Zero (yes I know the anouncer never says his name, but he is called Cyber Sub-Zero on the select screen and in his health bar.) and giving him a human costume wouldn't make much sense. He was created to be a Cyborg and he should remain a Cyborg.

This and also to OP's idea If it was Sub Zero's MK:DA unmasked outfit I'd like it just because I hated his MK3 outfit but loved the redesigned MK:DA outfit also having an Unmasked Sub alt would kind of make sense because if he was still human at the time he was transformed he would be wearing his unmasked outfit

Cyber-Sub-Zero should only have robotic alternate costumes, I personally would like to see a blue retro ninja as his alt. The idea could work because they did do Sektor and Cyrax, but those arn't my fav alternates personally.I feel instances of alternates being their human form it calls for an additional costume that's robotic.
