Custom Fatalities :/

BANALITY
I saw the E3 coverage On Custom fatalities, and to me, they looked a bit bland..........I dont know, maybe it was the people who were making them, who knows, but when i was watching it seemed all the fatalities could do was punch and kick thier opponent to death

I agree completely. They either need to give each character unique fatality moves or do away with that shit entirely.

It does look realy boring. It i just a bunch of kicking and punching in the beginning and a head rip or neck break at the end. Hopefully some kind of move list will give you hints on how to make a good and bloody fatality. I do have a feeling that the new-gen games will bring back having separate character fatalities.

Well, you sure can't argue about that Glam. I mean they don't suck entirely but it would be nice to have exclusive fatality moves for the shokans and tarkatans.

glad you agree with me. I hope no one gets angry at this, but this kreate your own fatality thing is a horrible idea. Hopefully, it won't last for future mk games.

i doubt Custom fatalities will last, i think they just put it in this game to make it like the real big armageddon

Keep in mind that the MK team has promised unique fatality moves for at least some, if not all, characters. We'll have to wait and see how that pans out and just how many unique moves there will be per character, but you can probably bet the farm that at the very least Scorpion will be able to set his opponent ablaze and Sub-Zero will be able to rip out said opponent's spine.

yeah, I agree with Deathcore, you won't know if the system is good or not until you try it, I mean some prospects of it look a little disapointing but in the long run it could turn out to be very promising, basically" you can't judge a book by it's cover" is all I'm saying

Well I'm not looking at its cover anymore. Now I've seen it in action and it looks "krappy". All the suggestions in this and other threads have been made on ways to improve it. And I'm just saying if none of them are EVENTUALLY included then the system will BECOME a tremendous dissapointment. It obviously has potential but as it stands it is bland. The animations are robotic and it's obvious you can't do anything "showy" with it just yet. The moves just don't FLOW from one into the next. It's hit, pause, rip, pause, kick, pause, pull weapon, pause, kill, victory pose. Eliminate the "pause" sections and then you might just have a workable system. It would of course require more work on the part of the one performing the fatality but there's no denying it's better is there?

Actually I think there´s pretty much different moves to do. I saw a list of them on some site... And yeah, there will be unique fatalitites to everyone.

Don't get pissed at me or anything, but I already saw that fatality sheet for mk armageddon
and the only "unique" moves are the sword kills for scorps and subz

That's as of E3, which was months ago now. To assume that only the moves seen in that build of the game will be in the final product would be ludicrous. You can bet there will be more.
