With the similarities in their costumes, Sub Zero and Rain will probably turn out to be descended from the same line of something since Sub Zero's outfit is his ancestral armour. So far the costumes seem alright and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

Scorpion's clan came from Subby's clan. So yeah... The simulairties would be there I suppose. Scorp's clan yellow is so supose to mock the Lin Quei's outifit or something like that.
 
Wow, Rain's costume reminds me of Mileena's with the veil type piece across the front. I didn't even make the Sub-Zero connection until I read this.

Reiko, nice. I like his. Very Shao Khan-esque.

Baraka needs a drastic change to his outfit. I mean, even Reptile gets a nice outfit, why can't Baraka have a kick ass costume?

Jarek looks like he's wearing something out of Bo Rai Cho's closet. Very stupid and his Keanu Reeves bed-head hairdo must be stopped.
 
I don't see a correlation between Sub and Rain at all...not a bit...Sheeva looks far better, Jerek raided somebody's closet...not sure who's...and Fujin looks quite nice (wish he had his cape from MK:M tho). I seriously hope they bring back Reptile's ninja form, I mean face it, it's time we saw all the newer consoles can do to make him as kick ass as possible. They almost did good with his MK:SM outfit...except for the head...

It does kind of remind me of Sub-Zero. Rain is like a purple Sub-Zero.

They possibly will. They said Motaro might MIGHT, not make the cut. He is different than the other humanoid characters, unless they make it no fatals/etc. On bosses then he won't be in there plus it woud be hard to have him in air combat unless he teleports/etc. Otherwise he would be aweosme for this game. (I think he should be)
 
A couple of things to add here and if they sound crazy then they probably are...

Wow, rain looks kick-ass and i can not believe no one noticed he has purple on him with gold trim which by the way makes him look pimped out.
Is it just me or does rain's head/hair look almost like movado....and rain looks almost like movado's alt from da but purple and gold......suspicous

Now this is gonna sound comepletely nuts, but to me honestly kintaro looks like a cute fzzy kitty cat with stripes on the back, i mean come on he looks like a kitty 8)
 
Hehee! Kitty! I always liked Kintaro, but he has no personality. His face does look kind of katt-ish however.
 
If Kintaro was 2ft tall... I wouldn't mind having him as a pet. :lol:

He'd be cool.

Though I think I wouldn't have any fingers left if I called him 'Kitty'.
 
I like Rain's costumes both from the older titles and the latest. I've always liked the ninja uniform and the new one doesn't look too ridiculous ( *cough - Reptile, Deadly Alliance - cough* ). As for Rekio, I seem to like his new costume better. Similar to Shao Kahn, and I liked his.

Rain looks like RD's avator, and sig.

Scorpion so far looks like MK:D one.

Sub-Zero looks so far like MK:DA alt. Costume

Ermac looks like MK:D costume.

Reiko looks like Shao Khan *Without the mask* but his pants are way different, and his shoulders are covered by spikes.

Reptile looks like MK:DA costume so far

mainly they look the same "so far"

you could check out the GI main site... *not this site the main MAIN GI's site they should have it and all the info recieved in the magazine.

I'm a sucker for classic costumes... But Rain's new costume is pretty awesome, and Reiko's is pretty identical to his MK4 costume.
