After seeing Rain's new costume in MKA,I want to know if you guys(and girls)like his new one or old one.And more.
 
I like the newer costumes, myself. Seeing the same thing over and over (yeah...Scorp's MKD alt pissed me off to no end) is really...boring.

I absolutely love what they've done with Rain...sorry LC 8)
 
Other characters have new custumes too... Like Fujin and Jarek (I hate Jarek's already! :x ). Everyone looks pretty cool (except for Jarek). I like Rain's new outfit. he looks kinda like shinobi (spelling?) now then a MK ninja.
 
Rain reminds me too much of Sub-Zero's costume in Deception. Maybe that's just me, though.

Sorry but i have to agree here. I dont like it one bit. Makes me queasy. The idea was Rain was a Ninja General For Shao Khan not a Samurai Butcher and... wait for it... HES NOT PURPLE! i mean like what the F*** people played trilogy and liked the purple rain. he looks more like something from an old japanese manga movie.

You know, looking at it after you said that, I really do agree. Its almost the same, but colored differently, and a little more realistic. I think they're hiding it with different fighting stances and different weapons. I guess the way you look at something can make it seem newer than it actually is.

On the topic, I like all the old, and the new. I really like the new, but when I first saw the old for the first time I felt pretty much the same way :\
 
The only thing I hate about Rain's new outfit is the fact it looks like he stole his grandmother's best tea towel and tied it round himself.

I thought Rain was originally an Edenian royal guard not a ninja general, this is just my view but despite everything being thrown around on this thread he still looks totally awesome and hopefully his alt will be based on his original ninja design (best of both worlds :P ). Rieko on the other hand looks every bit Shao Kahn's general and he's better for it, he looks amazing. Fujin looks the same except younger in his costume which works well for the character. Jarek's costume just plain sucks.

It does kind of remind me of Sub-Zero. Rain is like a purple Sub-Zero.
I hate Jarek's costume!!!
I don't like how Sheeva looks either.
Kintaro looks really cool!
They should put Mataro in the game!
