Concept art for Killer Instinct 3? With Master Chief and a Crackdown Agent as guests?

I have absolutely nothing but contempt for Microsoft for buying RARE and turning it into a shitty Kinect game developer denying ME my Next Gen Killer Instinct experience. IT IS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL MOVE IN GAMING THAT I CAN REMEMBER BECAUSE FAN CRY FOR THE GAME WAS AT A FEVER PITCH. Yes, I would have bought the craptastic XBox 360 with its miserable D-Pad JUST FOR KILLER INSTINCT.

Oh well, Microsoft's contempt for real gamers is appalling. And it's killing their brand within gamer circles. PS3 is the greatest of all time anyways!

Rare is sitting on so many good franchises. Banjo, Battletoads, Blast Corps, Conker, Jet Force Gemini, Killer Instinct, and Perfect dark. Screw you Kinect Sports 2. :eviltongue: Rare is but a mere shadow of what they once were. At this point, I wouldn't mind Microsoft delegating their franchises to more competent teams.
 
Killer Instinct 3 is like a dream that maybe will never see the light of the day. I miss the days when RARE made some of the most amazing games in the industry. Sadly, Microsoft is focused in Kinect, let's face it, it's amazing but for hardcore gamers isn't enough. How about FPS? I'm tired of them, of course, tons of fun but come on... every month a new FPS is launched.
Anyway, if KI3 would come to exist, hope it'll be a 360 exclusive. Personally, I would love seen Sabrewulf as a guest fighter in MK9, he's fatalities would be bloody as hell and painful to see.

KI3 should have been made as one of the launch titles for the original xb or the xb360 ...maybe there were talks but doa got the role as the xb exclusive fighting game franchise =/
