Characters that for sure wont be in MK9 as DLC (Twitter proof)

I really do love the way they made each of the old palette-swaps look new and shiny all over again. They each have distinct identities, movesets, and backgrounds. They are lumped together as ninjas only in the most basic of ways. They really are their own, fully fleshed out characters.

I agree too. She looks hotter in that avatar than she has in any of the games she's appeared in. Chances are maybe she would have a costume like that consider Ed Boon tends to strip the females as the series goes on.
 
Speaking of evil MK girls, I think that Tanya, Skarlet, and Mileena each have a certain type of attribute/ambition that makes them a lot different from each other.

Mileena is the unstable one, she is simply crazy and deranged. A line from her MK9 bio describes her best: "Though she has the appearance of a mature woman, she is more child than adult: a blank slate conformed to Shao Kahn's will." She's basically like a wild animal; she doesn't even have a concept of good and evil, moral and immoral. Unlike the other two, Mileena is unable to control herself, and relies on her master, Shao Kahn, to decide her own destiny.

Skarlet: Going by her leaked ending, she is absolutely loyal to her masters, and would kill anyone to appease them (including Quan Chi and the Brotherhood of Shadow). She is in the middle of Tanya and Mileena; she has the loyalty and craziness of Mileena, but she is able to control herself and has a concept of morality, like Tanya.

Tanya: Highly intelligent and untrustworthy. Has no loyalty whatsoever and mastery over treachery and deception. She knows exactly what she's doing and like Quan Chi, is an opportunist: as someone else has already said, she would stab her own mother in the back if it meant gaining power.
 
Mileena had no experience of life prior to being genetically engineered in a vat, she's basically mentally blank as her game intro said. Interesting thing though is that if Kahn was dead, she'd only be modeling herself after some other parental figure; she is at her first stages of psychosocial development. So basically anyone who was willing to give her approval and parenting could have the power to turn her good or evil. Seeing as how she was less than a year old in this game, it's no surprise how easily Kitana won her over and turned her into a force of good in her ending so quickly.

I totally agree, this is pretty much exactly what I was trying to touch on in my above post.

Also, if Kitana, Mileena and Jade created their own version of the Powerpuff Girls, Kitana would be Blossom (both are excellent leaders), Mileena would be Bubbles (both are the youngest and most childlike of the group), and Jade would be Buttercup (both are probably the best/impulsive fighters of their groups and wear green; I would say Sonya since IMO she is perfect for Buttercup, but we need all three to be the female ninjas). Ermac would be the Professor and Shao Kahn would be Mojo Jojo. :razz:

From the looks of this Rain and Tanya are most likely in...99% chance. He didnt deny them being in like he did the others. Also, older tweets confirms this too.

Looks like Havik, Fujin, Mavado, Mokap, Li Mei, and Kira wont make DLC.

I was pretty sure Havik would make it in since he's in Noob's ending and Boon posted a tweet of which DLC characters people would like to see (Havik was one of the ones in his list also Rain and Tanya), but I guess their saving the Chaos/Order thing for MK10. Fujin I knew wouldnt be in even though he was in Kratos ending, but that wont be seen on the 360 version anyway so that wouldnt confirm anything.

I HOPE TANYA LOOKS LIKE YOUR AVATAR. SHES CHOCOLATE AND FINE! Also i love tanya's fire powers! Great to see she will be in the dlc packs.

Fujin...Im not sure of...there has to be a reason his name is set for the male base DLC.

Boon also mentioned Bo Rai Cho's animality in a tweet a while back...hopefully thats a confirmation of both.

His backstory was kinda cool, as was his Alternate Costumes from Deadly Alliance, but after the back story that start to fall into the mindless thug role. If they did a major revamp of their story, maybe I'd be cool with them. His moves kinda fall into the same category for me. I doubt I'd like him as MK9 DLC but if they decide to put him into MK10 in the future he could be cool if they give the Stryker Treatment.

I dont like Tanya but if she comes as DLC i would want her too look like in MK4.
