I actually hope that Quan Chi is in the game he has a very important role in the story of the first three games since he not only resurrected Scorpion and Sub-Zero (turning him into Noob Saibot) but was the one that had Sub-Zero kill Scorpion and his family and clan. He will have to have his leg rip fatality as well because it is to amazing.

If they can fit all of Elder Scroll 4: Oblivion on a single 360 disc, they can fit MK. :)
 
In regards to choosing characters on the challenge tower, I think it simply depends on the challenge. Also the final challenge must be Goro, Kintaro and Motaro... Theyve been putting shit in this game that I did not expect at all, so my expectancy meter just went sky high. Like I said before, I love this whole secretive reveal system, its building up hype like crazy. WB was definitely the best thing to happen to MK.

On the negative, is anyone pissed off that Shao Kahn has his little Cornrow helmet costume? I dont like it one bit, hopefully the one on the site is an alternate costume.

I don't think that's his final costume. It does look really dumb. :l
I mean, why would they change the official site picture from that one to a better looking one
and keep the old crappy one? Doesn't make much sense.
 
For most of the challenges, you can pick your character. But for at least one, end game, the character you play as is random.

I kould be wrong but, it looks like they recorded this back in midway before they moved. Remeber the 1st Mkast where they said they were going to move? I think they did this before they moved. But I kould be wrong.

Yeah, it definitely does look a bit like it. But, I don't think we've seen enough of the new WB studio to know :l
 
HOT DAMN, that was some great footage! The Challenge Tower kinda reminds me of the Events mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl if anybody has ever played those. Also, I hope these "zombies/rainbow kombat/test your luck" modes are in vs. modes, that'd be just so awesome.

If Goro, Kintaro AND Motaro are in this game, I'd sh!t myself senseless. Though, with all tons of stuff they packed in with this game, I think that may very well be true!
 
please somebody tell me this game wont be like MvC3 with the pay for the rest of the game bullshit. there better not be DLC characters. outfits i dont care, but characters come on man stop being so much greedy bastards. if the story is really 15 hours like rumoured that would be awesome.
 
Pay for the rest of the game? The MK team have said many times that any kontent that is DLC will not be on disk, it's stuff that was made after the game was released and you are actually downloading the data.
 
Anybody notice how much better the graphics in the video? Could be the Unreal Engine 3 update (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Yep, that's just one of many, inevitably, absolutely correct leakings from our beloved Lupinko.
