i consider myself a casual/serious gamer..more towards the serious side and i play against a bunch of casual players online. Whenever i join a KOTH room and beat everyone at leaast once all of the other players get bitter and say you do the same move over and over when the fact is i use my BnB's when they make horrible mistakes (ie: over teleporting, move spamming, predictability). when i dont have a chance to land a BnB i am playing defensive and getting them hit with overheads/block strings. i play semi aggresive but mostly defensive and punish. Yet they still cry when i beat them and always give me low scores when i clearly am the dude to beat in the room. sigh. thoughts.
 
Yeah I won 11 in a row yesterday before everyone quit. I didn't even have to break out half my arsenal because they were pretty casual. A lot of it was punishing mistakes with small 3 hit chains or simple sweeps and uppercuts. MK1 style.

Then come the PMs about me using the same move over and over. I'm more defensive myself, so I know what you're talking about.

I find irritating when i join a KOTH and beat everybody, then everybody leaves........i find myself constantly joining KOTH's because nobody stays in the room after ive played them
 
Just got the umpteenth hate PM, this time from someone who did not block once. Do people even know how to play this game?
 
I hate when people say I spam the same moves over and over again. I mean, Mileena doesn't have a big move set to begin with, and most of her juggles are her special moves... Just hate it.

Oh btw, what does BnB stand for?
 
People are whiny idiots and will send hatemail for no other reason than they lost.

"Stop running away" = Stop zoning me, I don't know how to get past it.

"You play like a *****, fight properly!" = You're blocking my unsafe moves and punishing with combo's. I'm not smart enough to mix my attacks up.

"SPAMMER!" = You only had to use 1 move to beat me, because I can't block.

"Stop going the same character! There's 28!!" = I can't beat your main because you've actually practiced with them, go somebody you have no idea how to use.

It all equates to "Baww, let me win".

Whoever complain about a loss, moaning as a cry baby because lose a match in MK 2011 = LOSER

These retarded must learn to play the game, and put a good fight, otherwise, they are the same stupid *******s that are limited, and , lack personal character, because, who offend others because of a loss online, cannot be a good person in real life ..... Period.

Whenever I win, I don't say nothing, and when I lose, I don't say one word .... a win is a win, and a loss, is just a loss. You should not think you are a pro player for winning 20 in a row, the same way you should not give excuses for losing matches online ......

Losers online want you to make things easier to them, being predictable and limited the same way they are , and so, they can try to win .... when and if you put hard time to them , and they lose, next, they start to complain about everything .... simply pathetic and brainless, all the time.

Pretty much. I'll be the first to admit that I have more KotH losses than wins, but I really don't care. Ask SaibotMK how many times he's beat me in KotH with his Mileena, haha. I never leave a room just because there is someone in there that is dominating (isn't that the point of KotH?).

And on the topic of hate messages, I usually get them whether I win or lose. Either I suck because I only win because of SZ's ice clone, or I suck because I don't get to play as much as the dude with 50x the matches under his belt so I'm a scrub/fag/*fillintheblank.

I'm over it.
 
meh. doesnt seem like a big deal. you were playing well by the sound of it. maybe its the xboxlive community? on ps3 ive seen almost nothing but good sports in koth and 1v1. they even put up with me playing noob all the time.

ill be honest, unless its a xray combo or a wall juggle i dont think combos should get that high personally. however, i dont get mad about it since its clearly allowed by the game, its just my personal opinion. the 57% one that is. doing over a quarter of a persons life in one combo just makes it so...short lol.

I remember the old arcade times : that time, yeah, if you had no skill, and just could insist in playing match after match, against a dude who wiped your out and won 20 matches, in the end of day , you had no money, that's for sure ..... some guys there had something to lose, their money .... don't justify, but, explain why some tension could exist , some rivalry ..... on that time, of course.

Now, playing online , with pratically 0$ coust, in a MK room where you can play again, against the same person you lose, any amount of matches you two want, or spend hours there, and you are losing nothing in the end, but, some matches, so, don't justify acting as an *******, swearing and offending others people,that, played BETTER than you , at least, in that matches you lose to them .....
 
I remember the old arcade days very well. In fact MK9 being back to 2D got me to buy the game and Xbox to play it, because it looked so much like MK2. The arcade days had a lot of animosity between players since it was money that they lost, and if a good player was at the machine you had no choice but to play him/her or wait until he/she was done playing against the CPU. I still remember well the one time I got to play against Noob in MK2 after winning 50 in a row. Man that was the best feeling ever. Like 20 people crowded around the game to watch the match with everyone that hated on you for the last hour rooting you on at the end to see Noob.
 
Beerguyed thats really cool! Aedanwolfe same here! purely good experiences from online players! Was tryin to work out if it was that i was just in a nice region(uk) or whether it was ps3. Only messages i get are "gg" messages or sometimes a noob will ask how i do the classic scorpion fatality (in europe hardly anyone's had a chance to put in the redeem codes so you don't see it very often) i'll always be polite and let them know its pre order but will be dlc soon. At the risk of sounding like a stereotype brit, manners cost nothing! Most guys on this thread would hammer me but i ain't gonna cry about it, i'm not diehard good but i am obsessed with the game which is why i joined trmk

If you win:

Win or lose, people want to rage about it. That's why I only play against friends.
