CANADIAN Mini Tourney and Release!!!

SO PEOPLE IN ONTARIO, are you ready to get you Kombat on, A DAY BEFORE RELEASE???

Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto and Silvercity Theatre in Newmarket are holding a mini MK9 tournament at 8:00 PM on the 18th of April and the finalists will get to play on the BIG SCREEN. They will also show short films about MK, prize give aways and for people who havent pre-ordered... SALE OF THE GAME AT MIDNIGHT!!!

I am sure as hell going and hoping to connect with the various Ontario TRMK members. Its a 5 dollar entry fee.

Wow thanks for linking this Taj...I should definitely be able to meet up with you guys. Jade and I just talked very briefly (in the new member thread) about the Ontario contingent here on TRMK, so this would be a great chance for an MK celebration. Glad this game is getting a proper welcome.

I prefer Scotiabank Theatre, for what it's worth, but am up for either spot.

Any idea on whether or not they will be selling the Kollector's Edition? I was unable to get my preorder in for it, and will likely have to hunt for it the morning of the 19th. :(
 
@LRock414 - Everyone is preferring Scotiabank theatre. We should make a Meet up thread as well. As for the Kollector's Edition, I have no clue, youll find out if you reach anyways.

Sounds good. From the description, this should be a lot of fun, and I'll say it again, I'm glad the game is getting things like this. It deserves it.
 
I called to clarify a couple of things, and to anyone else who is wondering, they will be selling both Xbox and ps3 versions of the game.

The one thing he was unable to answer was whether or not they will be selling Kollector's Editions, as he said it is the distributor selling it, so he doesn't have all of the details.
 
Was able to preorder the KE yesterday from an EB Games in Cambridge that had reopened preorders. :)

In the event that I'm unable to make this launch event, I'm hoping for some pics and or videos!
 
Isn't this to be in Coquitlam BC, too? They had posted it on the MK Facebook page. I'm over in Nova Scotia, so I'll miss out. Ontario isn't that far off, but can't really afford the trip to play. :(

who showed up to this tourney last night.
I was the second last guy to win this.
Was playing as sub zero.
 
I was at the tourney at the silver city theater in alberta and i won :) i didn't think i was even gonna make it to the 3rd round lol!
