Wow there are some really sad posts in this thread. I say do whatever floats your boat.

I won't see this film as I don't like romantic movies. I watched "My Best Friends Wedding" with my girlfriend once and I felt like shooting myself half way through.

The only romantic movies I'll watch now must feature Jenna Jameson! :wink:

I'm not prejudice against any gay people many friends I have on one forum are gay and I see them exactly like I see everybody else equal.

I just don't like to think about men and men or womanXWoman. It just really doesn't interest me at all anymore. Back in the day reading about it was fine but now too many bad FF/etc. I'm disgusted with seeing it as are 75% of the rest of the populous.

I'm not I said I don't want to think about it I'd rather be MXF than FXF/MXM I just can't stand thinking about it IMO. It was all well at first but after so many bad reads... XP.

Sir I am one of the people that hates the idea of what any predujice that pass through people's minds I should know I'm a victim at school just because I don't like all the craze such as ACDC.

Now some religions do say being gay won't get you to heavan if that is true... Well I'd rather be on the safe side, although some religions say you have to be gay to get to heaven/heavan.


I'm old fashion, I believe in being straight, getting married before brining in any sexual activities, etc. Because I believe some of what kids are doing today immoral, it isn't that I'm against them but where is the passion, instead of the quick 3 minute %^&$ job?


Now I'm not against gay people, in fact I'm friends with quite a few sometimes I make jokes about them and others, but I do it equally to straight people/etc.

I'm pretty sure this sums it up.

I'm sure the movie is fine and that is good but I don't tolerate it.

Eh, I'm not going to say you're wrong, but he was right, you did contradict yourself a bit. No where here does it define romance To you it may not be, but yeah, technically, it is.

I wasn't saying I was wrong, I was having a go at him for pulling apart Pheonix's post and nit-picking it apart... I knew my post wouldn't sound right even before I posted it. I just didn't want to explain it.


Okay until a few years ago I was a anime fan. For 4 years I went around anime communities and stuff. I read fanfiction... A lot. And unfortantely most of it was written by under 15s with sick ideas. After reading several yaoi fanfiction because the writers never put a warning up... Guess what. I couldn't stand it (trust me they really were all sick!).

As I said, I'm not anti-gay. I know it exists and I actknowledge it is romance... But to me its not a real romance anymore. I find guy x girl things twice as sick... I don't like lovey-dovey stuff either. But after reading a dozen stories made by some sick twisted bunch of under 15s... I don't feel confortable with it anymore.

Also...

Can you picture Clint Eastwood and the other cowboys of western films in this kind of film? No. I'm not a fan of old westerns but I do watch them (some of them are very good).

And what about Roy Rogers the KING of the cowboys?

No and thats another problem... Had this been made 50 years ago someone would of done the directors and writing and cast and all in. I'm not a fan of westerns... But I am a fan of real cowboys (cute cowboys), by that I mean REAL (Roy Rogers ).

So yeah... I'm not anti-gay... To me this is just another sick twisted fantasy gone wrong. Hence why I don't view it as a romance. Believe me you'd have this same view on guy x guy and girl x girl relationships if you had read those same stories...

This film is no where near that bad... But can't get those stories out of my head. (Why I stopped being a anime fan... When yaoi became populaur). So yeah... It may or may not be a good film but for me I just can't watch it.

I agree somewhat with Angel.


I'm ok, with fanfiction as long as it is written good. I don't care if someone expresses their romantic opinions on certain anime/etc. Couples as long as it doesn't go: "And then they had sex, sex SEX~" etc. I just wish to kill them kind of people. (Angel not only 15 year olds do it)


Now as long as it is written with something with a good plot and detail I love it otherwise XP!

That is also why I never look at yaoi/yuri fics anymore it is usually stupid or badly written. Although I do love good Xovers in any kind of thing even real movies.
