Bring back Khameleon

Okay, risky for me to say that. I know she was more of a last minute "hey, we have a little bit more room left on the cartridge, let's do this" type of character. But, you know, with all that's happened to Reptile in the last three installments of the series, she could have a reason to come in. Of course, they'd have to revamp her look quite a bit, and keep it fairly close to the original (same basic type of outfit) whilst making her reptilian. Plus, she needs some original moves. But why not come back for revenge on Quan Chi, or Shao Kahn, or Shang Tsung (all for treating Reppy like a bitch), or even Shujinko (for allowing Onaga to gain enough power to infiltrate Rep's being)? She could be a cool addition, and she was the one MK character NOT in Deception's Konquest.
 
It would be a good idea for a roster filler or a special unlockable kharacter, but not as a full time person. Khameleon isn't that good of a kombatant overall. I mean, that in MK Trilogy (or UMK3) she switches between three people: Kitana, Jade, and Mileena. It would be hard to grow accustomed to the changes. So I believe that Khameleon has no place in the future of the MK genre.

You totally overlooked the whole idea. Bring her back with her own styles and moves, and an updated look. Of course she had the moves of the other female ninjas due to limited cartridge space, but now she could be her own character.
 
good call, check my SERPENTINE character in the Kreate a Kharacter thread. could be the kind of concept you're describing. perhaps a different outfit, but storywise and fightingstyle-wise she's quite original. i had many ideas for her moves and fatalitys written down but didn't bother to put them on the thread. anyway check it out if you feel like it.

Kobra kicks ass. Ken is such an awesome character, it only makes sense for Boon and co. to bring him into MK. Of course legally they can't, so Kobra is the next best thing. Like I've said before, it's the closest you'll ever get to seeing Ken in MK, so enjoy it. It's not like they've denied that he's a rip-off.
 
why would we enjoy ken in mk. street fighter is FAR cry from mortal kombat. and if i wanted to see anyone from sf end up in mk it would be ryu, not that pretty boy.
 
goddammit, street fighter is freakin awesome! but yeah, ken is a twat. ryu is a legend, and i'd love to see sumthin like him, ken, dan and akuma take on scorpion, sub-zero, reptile and ermac, but it'l never happen.

useless trivia: kobra was once called ken masters in a beta version, and that version was sent to a german magazine with strict orders not to review it, but they did, and spread a rumour across germany that ken was in MKD.

EDIT: i realise that post wasnt in any way relevent to the topic, so yeah, i'd love to see khameleon back. she was the only MK character i have never used, so i would jump to a chance to play as her. i may as well buy MKT on the N64 tho
 
Yeah, she was on the 64. Chameleon was on the PS, and switched between the male ninja (Scorpion, Subby, Ermac, Noob, Reptile and Rain).
 
Khameleon is a cool character and i think that she should be brought back as reptiles back-up character. She will fit in the story and with a few cool unique special moves khameleon will be an awesome character!

Bringing back Khamealeon would be awsome. She could meet up with Reptile and have him turn against his masters or (insert bed squeaking noise) :wink:

Maybe you're right. She didn't have much of a back story, except for being the last female of Reptile's race, but since he's the last male and she's the last female they can use that to their advantage and repopulate the Raptor race. :wink: :idea:
