Boon hints at xbox exclusive character ands more unlockables

That doesn't really hint at a 360-exclusive character. But what does is that when asked in an interview about a 360-exclusive character the answer was something like they can't talk about it at the moment. If there was no character they would either say no or just say that they don't have any plans at the moment.
 
It ain't about the exclusive characters anymore.The 360 players didn't even get the demo yet :(

Reports say that 360 preorders are more than the PS3's.They deserve something, but I would love to see it not happening. Just in case Kraots' fanboys screwed the PSN experience , I can switch to the 360.
 
Mortal Kombat will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 19. PS3 gamers will be getting their hands on God of War's Kratos as an exclusive character. Boon doesn't think Xbox gamers will feel left out though, "Well, there’s nothing that we have ready to announce but we love our 360 players and we love our PS3 players and I think everybody’s gonna get something they’ll be happy with." sounds like a hint to me

This could imply anything, though. It doesn't have to be a character. It could be a mode, a stage, or some other kind of game content.

I read elsewhere that someone else thought perhaps 360 would get free access to one of the DLC characters. That would be pretty fair, IMO.

^^This. There is something NRS can't talk about because they've been told not to.
 
At this point, I really don't think we'll be getting anything major, if anything at all. The game's out in less than 4 weeks...I think we would have heard something by now...
 
If you people actually bothered to watch the video of Jeff Gerstmann interviewing Ed Boon, he doesn't say anything about an exclusive character. Boon just says how they love both their PS3 and Xbox 360 fanbases and feel that they won't be left out.

How that translates to "ZOMG WE R GETTIN AN EXKLUSIV KARAKTER 2!!!" is anybody's guess.

If anything, I think it will be a free DLC character with a free stage that PS3 users will normally have to pay for. Which means it wouldn't be an exclusive character- but you guys do not have to worry about paying for the content.
 
I pre ordered the game for both systems, so what ever exclusive Kontent 360 gets ill be able to check it out. I have been following this game for a while now and I pre ordered this game for both systems because it looks like it is worth it. I am an achievement whore on the 360 too and ps3 I can play online with my cousins from out of town. Honestly though I really think Nether Realm studios has created something awesome ... So I am happy to be able to support them by buying a copy for each system.
 
I'm getting this for xbox only because I got the YLOD on my ps3. with that said, I dont see any extra on the 360 even competing with kratos. I really dont get what all the hate is about. you have such an awesome crossover character that fits perfectly in the mk universe.

No, I don't think so. Ed Boon said in an interview that there were 5-6 more characters to reveal, a couple weeks ago. This interview was posted yesterday but I think the info is a little old. I highly doubt that they will offcially reveal any secret aspects of the game.

I never saw how that got translated to this either, from the sounds of it there will NOT be a 360 exclusive character at release. Will there be one later for DLC? Very possible, but only time will tell.

it did not reveal anything the twitter posted 13 hoiurs ago by somone and you say the news is about 2 weeks old oooh they are slow posting it up then....

"there is nothing that we have ready to announce" can imply that they are working on something, but the end part where he says "everybody’s gonna get something they’ll be happy with" just makes me think people will be with the MK game in the end, not that they will be happy with a certain exclusive.

PS why is this article just being posted yesterday? That video was from march 9th. Someone is a little late to the party.
