Bo' Rai Cho is the biggest mistake in MK. From his name to his look to his move-set it is all a joke. To give that abortion of a character such a big part in the story is an atrocity. Hsu Hao sucked but at least he don't taint the entire mythos. New look and moves could help but would take a lot to redeem him and his name would still be a dumb fat joke.

Because there's more to this character than a move that people don't necessarily need to pull off that others see around that?

I mean, really, is one character out of sixty-something characters who fights with bodily fluids and gas that much of a problem? And if it's because "it's not serious enough," the series has never been serious after the second game. There's elements in this latest game that is humorous. You have a child riding a brute, that's funny. You have Sub-Zero throwing his ice clone. That's funny. You have characters throwing an old woman in a supermarket. That...is priceless.

I know I am super harsh on Bo' Rai Cho but that is because they made him so important to the story. Rain, Meat, Mokap take any of them away and it wouldn't really effect the story. I wanted Rain for DLC to complete the MKT roster. Bo' Rai Cho is one character that shouldn't be a joke and that is all he was. I get the wise fun loving master bit. Others have pulled it off but MK failed. With the other joke characters not every thing about them is a joke. If they tone down his joke gimmick and he is just a guy that likes to drink even tho he is a badass then maybe but I will always hate the name.

and the puking? exclusive to one variation....And that would be the variation "Drunken First". What does that imply? That he's DRUNK.

i thought it was hilarious when he decided he would help train warriors at the Wu Shi Academy...not because he wanted to help Earthrealm, but because they had really good rice wine hahah

A character brutally throwing an old woman and her laying on the ground dead is dark humor, bo rai cho farting and puking is no better than family guy humor. And regarding the whole, "it doesnt matter because its optional" thing. With that logic we could have retarded things like subzero making an Ice dildo or scorpion lighting a fart on fire, both of which are stupid af but "they arent necessary so its completely fine!".

Boon has stated that in MKX they are going for a very dark and gritty feel. Now imagine youre in battle, playing as scorpion or whatever, fully immersed into the badass fight thats currently going down, when suddenly, the fat **** your fighting rips a huge fart and vomits on the floor and you proceed to cartoon slip and slide on it and fall down. Thats ****ing retarded! They are going for a certain feel and atmosphere, and this stupid vomiting and farting will completely ruin any immersion it had going for it. And how many times does it have to be said? The farting would be almost non existent...
why do people think Bo Rai Cho HAS to fart? we all pretty much agreed that it wasn't needed...
I guarantee you that NRS wouldn't even include any of the farting, with all the hate it gets.

So what else are you going to complain about? the puke? iv went over this to many times and its getting way to redundant.

How about this....Bo' Rai Cho has a variation called "Drunken Fist" and within that variation is a move where he pulls out some wine and drinks it, this would give him some sort of power boost.

If hes able to drink it again without getting hit, it stacks up...If he drinks it one more time, it induces vomiting...which would disable his power ups and cause the opposite player to slip. But the wine goes empty after 3 drinks, so you only have one chance every match to pull off the move.

Now how is that something to complain about?
you wouldn't see puke all the time...it would be exclusive to ONE variation. And it could be made extremely hard to pull off, so that its VERY rare.

Again....we all already agreed that the farting wasn't necessary, so there's no need to complain about it. Because like i said, it's very very likely that if Bo' Rai Cho did make the roster, he would not fart.
And now were back to the puking...
If the puke puddle move was very hard to pull off, then it would barley even happen at all.

I love how you think ignoring or not pulling off certain moves because you can avoid using them turns into a "what if characters started doing this?" I'm sorry but your argument makes no sense because the developers aren't that stupid to start turning this game into Saints Row.

See, the problem is, you're telling this to a person who happens to like this character, and could care less whether or not he has his moves that oh-so bothers the crap out of people. I really wouldn't be bothered at all if I was up against someone like this online or whatever, because that's the character. He's a drunken buffoon who happens to be an important character that people see straight over because they're too damn concerned more about his abilities than what his purpose is in this series.

I mean, he's not the only character to throw up, the entire cast of 2011's did, and that's only if you managed to get them struck with Noob's X-Ray. No one made a big deal out of that. Hell, you even had two characters made characters vomit in their fatalities for Deadly Alliance, and people thought that was an awesome touch to the Kiss of Death fatalities.

But a character who vomits as an actual move... Oh jesus, it's like Jack Thompson in here trying to censor that sh!t.
