Exactly. I mean what more do you guys want? Do you really need a well thought out plot that makes sense and has anything at all to do with the video game it's derived from? Do you really need a movie that doesn't reuse the same exact death scene twice for two completely different looking characters? Do you really need character costumes that don't look like they were picked up from a Halloween closeout at Pic-N-Save?

Oh come on. Even though it had nothing to do with the game whatsoever, it was MORTAL KOMBAT! I tolerate it just for that reason. :)
 
Yea...this movie looks pretty gay. Even though they do have a good cast, look what happened with Ocean's Twelve (snore). I may see it just to watch Lokken in that outfit. Then again, I could just buy a poster of the movie. :wink:
 
Oh god, I HOPE this won't suck, VideoGames can't afford another crappy movie. They're making a Halo movie? NOOOOOO! You know what really sux? Movies mad into games! I swear, VGs and MooV's don't mix, except for: TROOOON! They used the same death scene for two guys? I didn't notice that. Which two guys?

I heard about this movie but I never looked into it. That poster is hilarious. I mean, are they serious?

Lolken (or whatever her name is) looks very chubby to me. Haha. And what the hell is that guy from Kill Bill doing in the poster? He looks WAY out of place. That is one of the worst casting jobs I've seen. He completely does not fit into that role.

He looks as out of place as Keanu did in Bram Stokers Dracula. Even more so.

Like some of you guys have said before: Some things should not be made into movies. But it seems like EVERYTHING is getting made into a movies these days...

That's why I avoid the theater like the plague.
