Belltower death drap not working

I was playing mortal kombat armageddon,and i wanted to see the belltower death trap,but when i tried to do it it wouldn't work!I uppercutted my oppnet several times,but nothing happened.am i doing somthing wrong?plz help me

You can only do it when you have to finish your opponent, so you have to choose between doing a fatality or using that deathtrap. The same thing is on the Tekunin Prison (fan level) if you uppercut them.

I always choose to try for a deathtrap if I can. I've unlocked everything in KAK and I've made all the chars I need to (and I might say they play GREAT) so I don't need money anymore therefore making KAF entirely worthless. So deathtrap/stage fatality it is! More entertaining definitely.
