Just come facts, so people don't make posts.

-You play as Taven

-The main story is that the father figure awakens his two sons; Taven and Daegon to defeat the elemental monter named Blaze.

-The first to defeat Blaze will become the Ruler of Edenia

-After you complete Konquest you will unlock Taven in the fighting part of the game.

-There are some secrets where you will have to squish a bug or bash down a tree in order to get the secret chest/item.

-The Kombat engine will allow you to perform one-button fatalities on your stunned opponents. As well as hitting multiple enemies with one kick or attack.

-You will not be able to use your Kreated Kharacter in Konquest Mode.
(Due to story line issues)

-The Konquest mode will last about 6-8 hours of Gameplay.

-There will be 8 Chapters in the game (if I remember right).

If anyone can post ideas feel free.
 
The "Squishing of Bugs" part appeals to me at the moment. Just how many Bugs are we talking about here and more importantly, how big?

I'd really love to squish some Oni Rot Flys, eeeew what a mess that would make.

oh, sorry. Well it said that this section of the forum would be closed untill closer to the release of MK:A, not after it comes out. i guess they were opened now becuase we know the basics about the Konquest in Armageddon.

Anyone else have some stuff I could add to the list?

I want to know what this means for Sindel and Kitana. I mean, last time I checked, Sindel was ruling Edenia. So what does it mean for her?

Hmm...not sure. Maybe they are too busy with something else or they were taken over. If anyone knows I can add it to the list in my main post.
 
Did you come to think that Taven's pops is ruler of a different realm? I don't recall anything saying that he and his wife ruled over Edenia. If so, don't you think the next in the bloodline, Sindel, Jerod and Kitana might have some knowledge of Armegeddon?

Just my impression of the situation. I'll go rewatch the opening scene if I can find it and make sure.
 
i haven't had a chance to see the video, but everybody's saying Edenia. Obviously, if it's a different realm it's not going to be a problem.
 
Ah NOW I understand what all the fuss is about. Taven and Daegon were sealed, possibly for centuries, we don't know how long exactly. Their mother was a mortal seer who married the PROTECTOR of Edenia, not the king. Taven's father is to Edenia what Raiden is to Earthrealm. The quest is to inherit that title, not to be ruler of anywhere.
 
That would make sense, thanks for clearing that up, Glam as I hadn't gotten around to rewatching that video.

I still think that the rulers, Jerod and Sindel, should have some knowledge about what's going on, well, before Jerod died anyway. Maybe they'll try to clean it up with Ressurection Amnesia or some crap.
 
That's a good way to start Konquest in Armageddon. So whoever slays Blaze first will become protector of Edenia. Wow! It feels like going through a storyline about the Elder Gods who appointed Raiden to protect Earthrealm from destruction.
 
i am kinda pissed that its goin 2 b sumthin like shoalin monks instead of like deception. b/c when u unlock him for arcade, his moves r gonna b rily different
 
They gave that Taven guy fire powers. In my opinion there are way to many characters in Mortal Kombat with fire based moves.
