Band of Brothers

You know this is a DVD Box set I have been meaning to pick ever since the show first aired on the Aussie Tube about 18 months. It's pretty cheap now and it comes in that cool Tin Box. I own alot of war movies. But sadly, this isn't one of them...yet. Did you view the entire show? How many hours does it go for, and how many episodes are there, dude? Do you recall?

Edit: Nevermind, dude, I looked it up. The front cover answers all the above questions, almost. Lol.

The HBO Miniseries…

Based on the bestseller by Stephen E. Ambrose, Band Of Brothers tells the story of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. Drawn from interviews with survivors of Easy Company, as well as soldiers' journals and letters, Band Of Brothers chronicles the experiences of these men who knew extraordinary bravery and extraordinary fear. They were an elite rifle company parachuting into France early on D-Day morning, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and capturing Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. They were also a unit that suffered 150 percent causalities, and whose lives became legend.

Yeah, the tins actually what my brother has

He got it for christmas a few years ago, it was around $80

You should buy it though, a good war movie collection isn't complete without it in my oppinion

$80? Woah! I saw it in JB [huge dvd and electronics store], for around $49.95. Now that's AUSD, dude. So that's still a fair whack of cash. But it looks decent enough to warrant such a spenditure.

By the way, I very recently watched this newish war film called "Kokoda". Ever heard of it? It's...ok.
