Alternative costumes you want to see in MK X

I would rather see all classic & alternate costumes from Mortal Kombat 1,2,3,Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3,4,Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance,Mortal Kombat Deception & Mortal Kombat Armageddon.

Seeing somebody with that shit was pretty cool. Even saw a few people who would highlight the Flash just to show off his costume, and then pick somebody else :laugh:

That was cool the first time I saw it. then I found out how easy it was to mod it and then it was popping up everywhere. This is why we can't have nice things :\

Scorpion's costumes from Deception and Deadly Alliance would be sweet. Also with a rope spear.

I dont think we really need any more retro skins in MKX. MK9 was the nostalgia train game that brought back all those feelings and had the retro skins we wanted. With MKX I want them to stick with the idea of moving forward and making a new generation of MK, rather than just living off of the past

Hmm... Cassie could maybe have like a civilian outfit that has her wearing a T-shirt that promotes one of her father's movies?

I really haven't had too much thought about what the alternates would be for any of these characters.
 
Mortal Kombat has always been pretty weak in terms of alternate costumes. MK9 was one of the worst for sure. Most was too similar to their primary counterparts or was downright ridiculous. The only ones I really enjoyed was Nightwolf's and OBVIOUSLY Sektor and Cyrax's human forms. I also liked Smoke and Sheeva's alternates simply because their primary costumes are genuinely some of their worst designs in the entire series. Apart from that, not really impressed. So... I am not expecting much for X. It will be a long way until MK is able to compete with SF in terms of the quality of alternate outfits & colours.

Jade's primary from MKD (if she's in)
Tanya's primary from MKD
Hotaru's alt (if he's in)
Mileena's primary from MKD (if she's in)
Shang Tsung's MKDA primary (if he's in)

Additionally, A costume VERY similar to my profile pic for Sub-Zero would be nice. The artist who drew that captured exactly what I've always pictured Sub-Zero to look like.

This id even pay for a mkda- mkd skin pack with shredder zero and maybe even monk zero ( kinda liked that attire) I really liked raidens attire in mkda and mkd as well.
 
The only designs I hope will never come back is MKDA's Reptile design, the awful gangster look that Jak had in MKDA and old man Sub-Zero from MKDA. MKDA had a lot of bad designs in my opinion.
 
I don't ever want to see that dreadful appearance Reptile had in Deadly Alliance. If he ever had to show his true Saurian self, have it be somewhere in between his Mortal Kombat 4 appearance and his Shaolin Monk appearance.

I too agree that 2011 had some lackluster alternative outfits. Despite that I misplaced the artbook, there were some great costumes they had for several characters, and I'm greatly disappointed that they didn't make the cut. They were so similar, and I think the one I hated the most was Kitana's. (I never cared for a lot of her outfits though)

Shouldn't alternate costumes be completely different than the primary? I sure think so.
