xbox.xom isn't allowing me to check the backwards compatability list, so could anyone tell me if Armageddon is available to be played on the 360 yet. I don't have my own copy yet, because otherwise I would have tried.

Taken from the Midway forums;

Midway forum moderator Cinder has posted that Mortal Kombat: Armageddon will indeed be compatible on the Microsoft Xbox 360 in the future. This is great news for 360 owners who traded in their original Xbox. While it's not compatible yet, Cinder stated that as soon as Microsoft updates the official backwards compatitbility list, Midway will announce it on their forums.

hopefully microsoft learns from this little fumble, and whatever they make after the 360 will be fully backward compatible without any need for upgrades or anything. I believe that's a major factor in alot of people not getting a 360 yet. I know it makes me angry, because there's not alot of games for the 360 I want yet, although i do have a few, but there are tons for the regular xbox that i want, but can't play because they're not on the list. I dont understand why in the world they did it the way they did, makes no sense.

It's been a while since they've done a Backwards Compatibility update, but I would figure it'd be sometime soon. The switch from doing MKD to MKA wouldn't take too much extra work on the emulator side. Lets hope by the holidays so they can sell more units.
