1006 + trmk = halfway?

Lotsa members, I remember the old trmk had over 2000 members just before they shut down. So where the hell are all these new people, hmm?
1006 is a boatload of members, ya know.

Many people believed that our boards were revolutionary when they first debuted. When we shut down, other boards implemented many of the ideas we used. We understand what it takes to make a successful message forum. While we rushed to get our forums back up in time for Deception this time around, we are working on many innovative and creative ideas that will blend the forum with the rest of the site. We have a plan to get people back here and spending a lot more time here. Without getting into specifics, we aim to double this number of users by mid-year. That's a pretty lofty goal, but I think it's doable.

but yeah,the number of members at a site isn't really a big deal,it's how many of them actually post more or less.
 
Yeah, I agree, I go to a board with over 400 members and 58695 posts. Thing is, only a handful of people posts, me included.

Of course a lot of people signed up to ask one stupid question when Deception came out and were never heard from again.

I'm glad that you brought up that point. I agree with it 100% and we are working on making so that posting at TRMK is no only beneficial to the community, but also beneficial to those who participate positively and regularly. :)

You bring up a good point, too, Ethix. As I last counted, only 150 out of the 1006 members have posted more than 25 times. That says a lot for the membership rate here.
