10 Questions For Ed Boon


Hey fellow Goof Balls. I thought this would be a fun idea, seeing as MKA is literally just around the corner. I'm sure that even though we have learnt alot about this game so far, that there are still things that every serious MK player worth their own weight in spilt blood would want to ask the Grand master himself, Ed Boon. This is all theoretical of course.

Write down here 10 questions [or more] you would have for him if you met him face to face. Serious questions that you would really like to know the answers to. You may also add questions about past MK games or MK in general. Please don't turn this into a spamfest like meh buddy, Immortal Reaver did in my last topic [jks dude]. I think it would be very interesting to find out what members want to know.

I'll start

1. How much time was spent on Motaro as far as trying to make him a 4 legged creature as in past games to actually work in MKA?

2. Have you ever considered teaming up with John Tobias for the finale in this series of MK games?

2. What was the thing that you most regretted about this game that you couldn't include due to time and or cost restraints?.

3. Have the fans made any impact on the way that this game has turned out?

4. Do you have any plans to include the very elusive Khameleon in any future Mk games?

6. Will we ever see characters that were scrapped in previous titles to make an appearance in any future MK games?

7. Is it true that you are an expert player with your favourite character, Scorpion?

8. Have you ever considered reintroducing FMV endings?

9. Is it true that the Mythical creature known as Chimaera was once a possibility for a sub boss in an Mk game?

10. Does Reptile have his Forceball move, and does Cyrax have his Plasma Net in MKA?

11. Lastly. What's your favourite junk food [takeout]? :mrgreen:

1. When will you spill the beans about any secrets from any of the games that have yet to be found? This generation of games has ended, lets end it by coming clean on past secrets. ;)

2. Which secret was your favorite to implement?

3. Do you ever feel like Will Shatner at a Star Trek convention with the rabid MK fans?
- Motaro only has two legs? DIE!!!
- Where is Khameleon? She's not it the game? Petition or boycott!!
- Where is Tremor? again... petition or boycott!
 
I'm glad you caught the sarcasm in my post CT. I was dead serious on the first one though! Maybe some ultimate challenge, beat MKA with every character and get the information about every secret in every MK game to date. Whether we uncovered them or not, an end-all-be-all listing from the developers would be nice to have.

I enjoy the MK series, but within reason. I just find it funny how fanatical we can be over a video game. Petition for this or boycott the game for that. Blame the MK team for decisions made by the Publisher (lack of Premium content for Xbox).

Let's just settle down, watch that intro movie again, and practice our sick voices for calling in sick to work Tuesday 10/10! :)

Sarcasm very rarely gets past my eyes, dude. I really like your idea for the 'Ultimate Challenge', whereby you earn all of that information. And I guarantee that even now there are still a multitude of things that are still unknown. There has to be. Think of all the scrapped ideas and characters that we as the gaming public never ever heard of or saw. I posted some trivia Here. The thing about Kabal and the Sandman was very cool.

Yeah, but that's pretty much the case with all aspects of life. Fanaticism, that is. From Sports right through to gaming and everything in between. We as MK fans have that privelege to complain and gripe about what we want and don't want, as far as MK goes. In the end I see it as more of fun thing than being really obsessed. Rest assured, I like my MK. But I don't live soley for it.

"Live to play some MK, don't play MK to live" or something like that.

How come Cyrax is an African American instead of an Asian?
 
I think Tremor isn't a character because he was never in a real MK game, and Special Forces was hated by most fans.

Hate it or love it, Special Forces was a real game, nonetheless. And I'm sure that many many MK fans will try and create the Earth colored ninja, Tremor in KAF. I know I'll be one of them. :mrgreen:

But Back To a Serious Note. Heres A Few Questions. Will Liu Kang Be A Dead Looking Zombie Guy For The Rest Of MK History. His Ending In Deception He Regained His Body And Was Cool Looking Again But In The MKA Intro Hes A Dead Dude Again Which Leads To The 2nd Question Why Is He Still Dead Looking In MKA? My Last Question Is Really Really Random Compared To The Last 2 Which Is Will Their Be More Brotherly Fueding Between Sub-Zero And Noob Saibot? (For Those Of You Who Dont Know Noob Is The Original Sub-Zero...The Now Days Sub-Zero's Brother).

Yes I Put Every Word Capitalized Its Just Something I Do That i cant Help. Like A Bad Habbit...Like Say Bitting Your Nails Or Something. If You Dont Like It Ignore It Or Me Your Choice. My Question To You Is Why cant You Find Something Better To Complain About.

Well it actually is really annoying. Also, if you were to write a paper for school and you used all capitals like that you would get a really bad grade. It can't be a habit to do that, becuase it's going way out of your way to change your font.

If you want people to take your posts seriously, you have to type well.
 
Seein How I Only Type In All Caps Online Is One Thing. Another Is That I Graduated High School, And I'm Enrolled In College And Majoring In Computer Science And Web Design Is Another. You Kids Can Go Ahead And Complain About Me Typing In All Caps All You Want. I'm Just Glad Its Getting On Your Nerves. So Keep Complaining I Dont Care Kids. So Are You Talking About The Forum's Topic Which Is 10 Questions To Boon Or You Going To Complain About Me Typing In All Caps At The Beginning Of Every Word? Look I'm Responding To Questions From Other Members Not Starting A Topic Of How I Type. Lecture The Ones Starting This Not Me. I've Stayed On Topic Until I Get This Crap On How I Type Annoys Others (Which I Dont Care About). And I Honestly Dont Care About Your Oppinion Of Me And College And My Spelling Errors I Came Here To Talk About Mortal Kombat Not Explain Myself So Like You Said Lets Stay On Topic And Please Kids Grow Up And Get Off My...Yeah. Back To The Boon Questions.
 
Woah. I didn't complain ok. I only asked if you really HAD to put every word in capitals. Its just hard to read since every sentence begins in capitals. Some people always forget to put in full stops and such, which makes it harder to read. I had to read many post over and over again to understand what he is saying.
 
Hey, please quit with all of this unnecessary bickering! All of you! Simply post your questions that you would like to ask Ed Boon. How freakin difficult is that, I ask you? And if N1RF wants to type that way, then so be it. It doesn't worry me other than the fact that he hasn't done as I have requested in this thread. Ask each individual question on a seperate line please? I have set the example, so all you have to do is follow suit. By the way, welcome to TRMK, N1RF. I do realise that you're new to this site/forum. Apart from your different posting style, you seem cool so far. Also, please don't let Immortal Reaver bother you too much. Afterall, he is only a N00B. :mrgreen:

Jinko, I get somewhat annoyed when I hear the word Canon. Just recently, I heard someone [Glam] say the word Canonised. Wtf? :mrgreen:

I have another question for Ed boon; Where da hell is the babalities in MKA? I'd love to see a baby Onaga get owned by someone. :mrgreen:
