Dr. No. Far and away. The first, and still the best. Although Casino Royale (anyone see this one? It wasn't official, but it was funny as all hell. Woody Allen played the villain) was also really good.

yeah i saw that, it was jokes

Goldeneye. Pierce Brosan and Sean Bean are great when they are in a movie together.

Plus Goldeneye 007 is the best movie game ever in my book.

Any one with Sean Connerry. But I personally like Goldfinger.

Cheers to that! Goldfinger is the best. Archetypical villain and the perfect balance between Bond wit and gadgetry. RIPLIUKANG, you rock!

Casino Royale, though named after the first Bond novel, is not a Bond movie at all. It's a satire on the spy-movie genre. But, see if you can find the ACTUAL Casino Royale CBS TV movie from 1954 based on the book. It's actually the FIRST Bond movie ever made, but not a part of the official EON/Danjaq franchise.

Not the words "wasn't official." While I do know about it, I haven't seen the 1954 version, as I couldn't find it anywhere, but I would like to watch it one of these days.

Seen it, I busted some stupid trivia question that stated that Dr. No was the first Bond movie with this knowledge. B&W and not a bad flick. Very slow compared to other bond flicks, but so was the book. Basic story line is a fresh agent goes into a Baccarat game to bankrupt some guy that I don't remember what his deal was...

My vote is all of the ones with Sean Connery, even if he isn't a Brit.
