Earlier this afternoon, fellow Mortal Kombat fan site FDMK, posted up a tiny teaser picture of Batman's on again, off again nemesis Catwoman. But alas, the picture was quickly pulled at request of Midway. While it only displayed her head, our forum member Glamador quickly found what looks like the action figure that appears to be heavily influencing the design of the character in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. She appears to be sporting some goggles and a bluish/purple tinted costume. You can see the action figure image below:

There is much possibility that this is not the final artwork for Catwoman, thus why it was pulled so quickly. However, this is a good sign that she will be appearing in the upcoming game.

Also thanks to LeoTMNT for the original tip.

Update: You can now see the full render over at Total Mortal Kombat. Head over there to check it out.

I did save the tiny teaser picture before it was pulled (foresight for the win!). But I don't know if I should post it here. All I know is that I love that design and I can't wait to play as her post haste! Or do I want to play WITH her....

No problem.

How is she a poor DC character? She's got the looks, the skills, and the intrigue. I think she, like almost all of the Batman rogues gallery, is incredibly deep and interesting. She makes for a good story, she has a whip, and whips make for great action scenes. I don't see what's wrong with her.

Ok, I see your point and agree to a point. But one thing I am thinking is we dont need Batman, Robin, Joker (I hope) AND Catwoman. Its gonna start to seem more like MK vs Gotham City.

Another thing I think also is that after that god awfully terrible movie, nobody cares for Catwoman.

Catwoman's always been the most populaur Batman villian. Not to mention one of the most populaur female DC villians. My guess is their trying to balance out the game more between male/female ratio.

(took three goes to spell "Batman" btw - "Bartman" and "Bataman")

Well Tim, while Catwoman did suck major ass, it wasn't even LOOSELY based on the comics. It wasn't the same woman, the same powers, the same setting, the same anything. She wore a catsuit and had a whip, that was the ONLY thing about the Catwoman movie that was even remotely like catwoman. And even they didn't look right.

Exactly. But lets face, most of the general public, is well, dumb, or at least ignorant to that fact.

I mean, its cool if she is in the game, but they better have a solid, I mean SOLID DC roster.:)

Okay aside from Joker and catwoman, heres some other Batman villans;

-Riddler (The only line related to Riddler I've ever liked; "Riddle me this... Riddle me that... Whose afriad of the big black bat?")
-Penguin
-Dr.Freeze
-Posion Ivy
-Harley Quinn
-Clayface
-Madhatter
-Two-face

Batman's villians tend to have a lot more effort put into them then Superman. But really, its Joker or Catwoman. Most people can name more Batman villians then Superman.

I agree with Angel. The only two villains I know of Supermans is Lex Luthor and Doomsday. Now Doomsday would be one bad ass mo'fo if he made the cut. Anybody who could destroy Superman has my vote.

It's cos of the films. In the batman films there have been two or three different villains in each new film, Whereas in Superman it's mainly been Luthor. He doesn't particularly have his own villains really, because practically all of the DC villains have had their asses kicked by him at some point
