James Wan to Produce new MK movie

Now obviously in the rebooted Universe, they've decided to make them look more Asian because they aren't just stuck with fill-ins for Mocap like with the first 3 games. Not to mention, even in MKX Kitana's features look more foreign than in the original game. Now with Jade, honestly she can...

James Wan to Produce new MK movie

No Asians played Sub and Scorp in the games but it's a known fact that canonically they are both Asian. Let's also keep in mind that Kitana in her inception was supposed to be Shang's daughter and they simply made her name into the more "generically Asian" name Kitana instead of Kitsune.

Agreed on Ali Larter as Sonya..which is why I'm in support of women like Katheryn Winnick getting the part. I also like Sam Jo as Kitana and since she continues to take acting classes(she revealed that in an interview during the release of MKL2), I only seeing her growing in the role even more.

Katheryn Winnick's martial arts reel: http://youtu.be/DNsKGUgGqqw This doesnt do her acting justice as much as the TV shows I mentioned...or Tipping Point. Just watch Vikings on the History Channel to see how good she is. She adds alot more credibility to the whole "female bad ass" shtick than...

Well to me, using a face as familiar as ScarJo just doesnt feel right with MK. Katheryn Winnick is a great actress, great martial artist....and she even use to be a bodyguard. Katheryn Winnick's acting on Bones, Vikings, Tipping Point, and even episodes of House and CSI show she has a great...

What I admire about Sam Tjhia as Kitana is that even as we speak she's taking acting classes to become a better performer because she takes it that seriously. She's only my age, 22 years old, but I've seen growth in her looks and acting. So I don't mind her if we had to keep her.

If I had to choose from relatively seasoned martial arts actresses I'd use Katheryn Winnick as Sonya Blade Yifei Liu as Kitana Bernice Liu as Mileena Francois Yip as Sindel

Well so far, I'd definitely say this woman has acting ability and an exotic "Jade appropriate" look that wouldnt look out of place in a fantasy film setting: Frieda Pinto: Also if this woman, Brandi Alexis Reed knew how to act and handle action scenes then I'd welcome her for Jade and...
