What Kotel lacks in speed, he makes up for with reach; his F 1, F 2, F 4 all hit at Sweep Distance, and two of those are combo starters. B 2 has the same distance, and is an Overhead; in several of his moves he has easy access mix ups. ( 2 1 2 versus 2 B2 for instance). I'm not going to pretend...

The Spider Jump only happens in the Spider Kave, in the graveyard it's wolves. As long as you stay out of the spider cave (And have someone go through that for you), you should have no problem.

F 1, B 2 -> F 1, 2 is a pretty easy combo, which allows you to get his buff going. I'm a fan of F 1, B 2 -> 1, 1 -> EX D F 1 -> D B 2 for Sun God. It's got good range, hits hard, and gets that buff going. I'm liking Kotel (Blood God and Sun God, not so much War God) and Mileena.

So, after getting my hands on the game, I'm actually ruling Erron out. Kotel Kahn is a powerhouse; lots of overheads and lows, easy combos, fully capable of hitting for 44% with his X-Ray and his EX disc can hit for 31% (Both if Blood God buffed + F D B 4 Buff). Mileena though seems like...

Meh, rocky launch sure, but when the dust settles, we still get any controller we are comfortable with and mods.

At least Practice and Bot matches are up and running. I've found a 9 hit 32% combo with Mileena already at least. Gotta love putting the computer on Very Hard and just watching the magic happen.

This weekend I have to go to a different town for some job interviews, but I plan to be playing the game pretty much non stop till then. If I'm not toying with my 3D Printer, that is.

That was kinda what I was thinking; fight nights where we just get a big KotH or two going, and just playing together normally at other times.
