Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

I really do not want Rain as DLC because we already had him as DLC in MK9. I know MK9 was a while ago, but I feel other MK characters should get a spot than Rain. Also, I feel like it come off as desperate that people are willing to pay for the same character again as DLC. I like Rain too, but someone like Fujin should be DLC for once. It has been over a decade since he was playable.

Cuz he's awesome, it's a shame he didn't make it in this one but oh well, honestly I feel like people wanting Rain in MK is just gonna become a meme at this point. I honestly think Smoke and Mileena have high chances, a little less so with Fujin but he still has a shot.

If that's Netherrealm they are in, what really would surprise me is the sky. The sky is beautiful. They are going more and more on the idea that the fantastic features of a realm are not the most common things.

That’s what I was hoping for as well. It looks incredible, I was really disappointed that outworld didn’t keep it’s purple sky, but at least the NetherRealm looks fantasy-like

I doubt he'll be dlc. They're going to do the same thing for him that they did with Noob. Leave a fan favorite ninja out for a game, and when MK 12 comes about he'll be celebrated as the "return of a classic favorite"
 
At this point Smoke has a way better chance of making the pack than Rain does, the push for him kind of reminds me of the whole Waluigi movement for Smash (which is ironic considering there both purple).
 
Does anyone still believe that there is 3 secret characters? I still believe alot of evidence still points to it.

To me Rain, and Shinnok are locks, the third character could go either way
 
I have a feeling Shang Tsung might end up like Brainiac from Injustice 2 where he's unlockable but also dlc-able.

I'll still be amazed if Shinnok is in. This character is making the greatest turn-around in MK history.

I was thinking that too but Brainiac wasn't really DLC, he was a character that you could pay to unlock early but he was already in the game.
