I'm done here, my point is proven. It appears that all of you will continue to ignore and disregard the opinions of the entire professional fighting game community (you know, the people that actually know what they're talking about) and continue to believe that your opinions are somehow factual and/or more accurate.

Before I know it, you'll all be saying that Quan Chi is terrible.

I'm like the biggest fan of facts you're ever likely to come across, and pretty much everything you say about competitive play, that I've seen, is always reasoned and backed up with solid info. I dig that. I respect it. And I hate misinformation and ignorance. If someone is wrong, they should be enlightened. Do unto others as you would have done unto you, that sort of thing. I certainly hope I'm being done unto.

But you are so insufferable in how you go out of your way to talk down to people who might be and probably are wrong, you actually make me wish you hadn't corrected them. Ignorance would, in fact, be preferable to the classless vitriol you unleash on any soul who dares to cross your path with some bad info.

I wonder if you'd have the balls to talk this way to other forum members if you met them in real life.

I'm sorry, but when I provide people with irrefutable information and/or evidence on numerous occasions and they react by accusing me of lying, they really don't deserve an amiable response.

I don't care what tournament players say because I'm not into competitive online playing. We're really going to compare video game players to doctors?

You said that people are saying that Mileena and Kitana are garbage. You have no evidence of it. I have evidence that people don't agree with you.

Not once have I said that Mileena is garbage, so don't put words into my mouth.

As I said before, it isn't my job to provide you with evidence that you're to lazy to search for. I cannot be bothered to spend 30 minutes rummaging through two-hundred pages just to locate & provide you with the comments made by professional players regarding Kitana's current state.

Here's the thing, I don't need "professional" Mortal Kombat players telling me who I should play and who I should stay away from. If I want advice, I'll ask, but I think I can manage myself on how to play as a decent player. But the problem is, I'm not competitive, so why should I give any care in the world what the "professionals" say when I literally don't care at all?

The fact that I'm literally getting told by an eighteen year old that I probably don't listen to advice my doctors say because I choose not to listen to the glorious words of the "pros" of Mortal Kombat is quite possibly the most hysterical and the dumbest thing I've gotten said to on this site. Not quite up there with the crap I've seen on MKO, but it's up there.

I don't care what they have to say because it's my personal game play. I don't need to tell me who sucks and who doesn't. For duck's sake, I play Ferra Torr! Am I a horrible person because I'm literally sitting here and saying they are really not a bad character to play as?

I sure must be if the "professionals" say they're not worth playing. Please, I don't care what they have to say whatsoever. And if I have to be yelled at or get insulted because I choose to play the way I want and not what some random dude wants, then that is ducking ridiculous.

You don't have to go for the jugular every time you disagree with somebody.


* After making the comparison I realized this TV show went off the air before you were born, so forgive me the perhaps less-than-useful metaphor.

Professional players are not saying that Kitana is garbage. That's the whole point. You're among the very few that are saying that.

Here's the thing, no one is telling you who to play as or how to play as them. Your assertion that Kitana is 'definitely good' is what led to this petty argument.

Yeah, it's not about being right or wrong, but rather the attitude you show and whether or not people on here respect you to actually listen to you. It's like with DeBane's thread some time ago about corner-gameplay, he might have some good points, but no one listens to him because of the way he presents himself on this forum, so he doesn't deserve the respect to be heard.

It's basically "The boy who cried wolf" of the internet. If you keep being a douchebag over and over again, then when you finally have something honest and legit to say, people just don't care and don't listen.

I never said she was "definitely good," all I said was that she's "really not that bad" to play as. Does that mean that I think she's "definitely good"? No. It just means that I find her at a decent level and if I want to, I'll play as her if I don't feel like playing as the three mains I have.

You're the one that got in my face, started insulting me and comparing apples to oranges with the doctor bullsh!t because how dare I go up against the opinion of a "professional" gamer. I said it twice and I'll say it one more time, "I do not care what they have to say about any character."

I don't care if they find a character piss poor or excellent. In the end, it's who I want to play as and how I want to play as them. And if people seriously has a problem with me not wanting to listen to some "professional" then I would like to advise you to ignore my posts then. You can throw whatever kind of posts and Youtube videos in my face telling me how "wrong" I am, in the end, I'm just going to say, "that's nice," and carry on because I really don't care.

I'll play who I want to play as and say who's good based on my preferences. Anyone and I do mean anyone can disagree with me, but I at least expect them to hold a certain level of respect for my opinion and not act very immaturely if they happen to disagree with me.
 
Two of my mains are bottom 5. Kano and Jacqui are great, shame they're under used, but at the same time the hipster in me is glad. Jax is my other main but he seems to be popular and I can fully understand why. Ferra/Torr is another character I use a fair amount. I'm not surprised that they near the bottom, but thought they'd be lower if all the hate they were getting before launch.

I'm not seeing anyone saying that she is terrible. Here is a post from your "proof."

I'm really enjoying the zoning capabilities of Kitana, man. I've never played a zoner before, so I'm not all that great at it. But I'm constantly working on getting better at it because I like it so much.

I'm also a fan (no pun intended) of her b2 and b4 after a knockdown. They have to guess if they don't have the meter for an armored wakeup or if they don't want to use the meter.

They both catch the end of backdashes depending on the character's backdash. I love it.

Read through the first 3 pages. The skipped a few pages and read a couple more. Still not seeing people say that she's terrible. :rolleyes:
