Shaolin Trailer + Bo rai cho

Definitely would've liked fire god Lui Kang, but who knows, he's definitely one of the few along with Kung Lao and Fujin who could take over as protector of Earth Realm once Raiden is gone.

Both fatalities were sick!! The head making the body fall apart was the touch it needed to be special. Cutting of the head and limbs is just meh. Lui Kang's is indeed weird but kind of a salute to the throat punch that is used in many asian fighting styles. The push was also a very nice touch.

I feel like a lot of fatalities have that little extra at the end, not just with these two, but also:
- Kung Jin's arrows on the ground with blood coming out
- Ermac keeping the head afloat and the body with guts afloat
- Reptile's head split with blood gushing out of the neck
- and plenty more :)

It's not an unreasonable conclusion to come to, though, given that MK9 revealed Raiden to have complete healing / restoration powers when Sonya saved Jax and he healed his arms (MK1 part).

Not really but if it allows me to whoop raiden i dont mind lol
Also i like the little touch they did with the lighting to make liu look a little like zombie liu with his skin color
 
Finally they showed Kang! and he is old as well?? So...what happened??
Liu's fatal is more gross than his previous ones, ill say that.

Well atleast that means he isnt the final boss character. Then WHO is???

Of course there's always Raiden trying to succeed/fail in healing Liu back to normal. But what I was referring to was how there were a few people that were literally saying how Liu was still alive at the end of 2011 because they could have sworn that they saw him "breathing" by looking at his chest.
 
What does everyone think of the scene showing Raiden (in his MK1 costume) and YOUNG Kung Lao and Liu Kang fighting the Tarkatans at the Kove?? Possible flashback to pre-MK1?

Or is it right after the Netherrealm war? I really don't think they'd run right back to Raiden after what happened...thoughts?

I doubt that NRS would make a trailer with their unlockable character being unveiled like that.
 
Oh wow, now that was awesome as hell!!!

I still wished we would have had Fire god Liu Kang (Raiden's future replacement perhaps?) But I can't complain. That moveset looked mightily awesome.
 
Wow, this is the first time i'm happy for Liu Kang inclusion. He looks badass and that fatality is disgusting haha. Wow, i now have hopes for Fujin as the unlockable character!

Same here.

I'm also thinking that it could be a reason why they didn't make him DLC.
If there's 1 character that I would have expected to have 1st dibs at DLC, Tremor and Fujin would have been my guess, due to the high demand for both of those, and the fact that Fujin ALMOST made it to MK9.
 
Wow that trailer was awesome! So glad to see Bo Rai Cho sporting a less comical look. And man, all three of the Shaolin crew are going to be killer! Also I'm so glad Liu is sassing Raiden. In fact the general sass levels in this game are super high XD
