DLC characters

I think the console exclusive characters are going to come out at the same time, but not be released for the other console.

So like

X/X/2015 - Sweet Tooth & Fulgore come out for their respective consoles
X/X/2015 - Spawn comes out for both consoles

Yeah, that's also another possibility.
 
The console guest fighters will likely be on the disc similar how Kratos was then the DLC guest fighter will likely be release a few months later like Freddy was.

You're partially right.

Just because "dead stay dead" isn't an absolute premise, it does not mean that we must have someone that died on MK9 to return on MKX.

Maybe on MKXII, MKXX, MKL, MKC... but I just don't want right now.

Then what happens if Scorpion gets killed off? Would you not clamor to have him in the next game like everybody else would?

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are the 2 exceptions in MK that will always be back, given that they are the 2 most popular characters that help sell games (especially Scorpion), much like Ken and Ryu in SF.

Scorpion is already dead. In fact, he has been dead since before his debut.

You can't kill that which is already dead. Scorpion even said so himself in Sub-Zero's MK4 ending.

If Im looking at the DLC as a Wishlist for any characters that i want or would fit in the MK genre i would have to pick:


Sabretooth
Bane
Simply bc theyre a couple of my favorite characters
 
Guest characters are terrible, especially on the disc when you always have to face them in the ladder or play in their stages.

I would like to see these Mortal Kombat female kombatants on DLC:ASHRAH,FROST,JADE,JATAAKA,KIA,KIRA,LI MEI,NITARA,SAREENA,TANYA & TASIA for Mortal Kombat X
 
I dunno, since they had Freddy for MK9, I kinda hope they have either Jason or Ash (From Evil Dead) as characters in this one.
 
I think Kyle Crane (Dying Light) in his Ninja Outfit would be a nice DLC for MKX while he weilds the BuzzKiller.

DLC will not be as hot as you guys think it will be, its 4 characters which really wasn't what I did expect.

In an interview Ed said "Don't worry if your favorite character doesnt make the cut we will have DLC down the road"
Now its been confirmed only to have 4 DLC characters.
2 of these characters will be guests lol

If I had to choose Cyrax/Reiko & 1 female character would be nice.

It's not "confirmed" that there's going to only be 4 DLC characters. There's nothing saying they can't have more DLC characters after the initial 4 are released, just like how Injustice released Martian Manhunter and Zatanna later.

He's gotten screwed out of being on the roster on 2 new timeline MK games now.

Everything else is inconsequential to me.
 
Do people really want guest characters over MK ones? I don't get it!

To me, I hope the DLC characters are either MK4 ones of MK9 returning characters that have some connection to the story (Baraka as Mileena's ally or Sektor for the leadership of the Lin Kuei). My list of DLC characters would definitely be: Baraka, Rain, Reiko, Daegon (Mileena's allies) or Fujin/Tanya/Kai (Mortal Kombat 4). Bo' Rai Cho and Havik would be welcomed too.
